The Hound can't be dead.

Yep. What about Stannis? We never actually saw Brianne kill him
I honestly thought Brienne spared Stannis at the end of season 5...but it seems like she may actually have killed him now as he's had no mention so far. Still, wouldn't surprise me if he was actually alive, but I doubt it.

I'd love a spin off show based on what happened before the show.
Rhaegar vs. Robert  (prime) would be f'n mental.
Or how the targaryens and their dragons conquering westeros.
Or the dance of dragons when targaryens fought each other for power.
Or the story of the mad king.

Here's the full targaryen family tree if anyone is interested.

Apparently we're gonna be getting some ToJ stuff in the next episode or 2! And someone was saying on Reddit that it'd be great to have that tournament (can't remember what it was called) where Rhaegar gives Lyanna the rose or whatever, just so we could see how everything basically started, and also seeing some of the characters who weren't around at the start of the series, but who still played important roles in how all these events occurred.

More Branflakes please!

Keeper27

Prior to the show, Rhaegar is my favorite character.
IMO he'd have been a great and wonderful king if the mad king didn't go bat shower crazy and passed on the throne to him.
Also if he kept his tool in his pants and not go after Lyanna then Robert's rebellion wouldn't have happened.

I still believe in the R+L=J theory.

Word is that this could be confirmed/allayed next episode!

What are your thoughts on tomorrow's ep? What are we expecting/anticipating? Few thoughts:

-Jon Snow should be, by all indications, a changed man. I hope he's more determined and bullish about what he thinks is right, so more intent on the threat of the white walkers and maybe revenge for the Boltons?? (Will we get SnowBowl?)

-ToJ flashback - What amount of detail will we get? And will it be via a Bran flashback? If we get a full R+L=J confirmation with Bran that would be massive... Would be just a matter of how Bran communicates it South.

-I think Rickon will come back and be the 'gift' for Ramsey. If he is, I don't want to think about what could happen  :-[

-Really hope we get to check back in with Littlefinger, might be my favourite character and now that Sansa has escaped it might shake things up for him.

-Looking forward to Zombie Mountain Robert Strong's next victim on Cersei's grand tour of retribution!

It's probably been said but, i strongly dislike that we may learn new things prior to the books, it's just, well, doesn't feel right :-X

He's flowerin out of there! Wonder if he'll see Sansa or not...

Definitely gonna go and attempt to take revenge on the Boltons though (if they're still alive ;))

Maybe next week :'(

I did enjoy what they showed this episode though. AD was insane, and him getting stabbed in the back by HR was classic GoT. The LC of the KG (GH) will probs be in the tower with Lyanna.

And yeah, all flashbacks are gonna be Branflakes it seems. Especially with BR saying he needs to learn everything.

Yeah this didn't surprise me. But remember, the North remembers ;)

Well, this episode kinda hinted at a possible return of the Hound I reckon. He got mentioned twice iirc, and Arya talks about leaving him to die, but not that he actually died. Imagine The Hound vs The Mountain in a trial by combat to save Cersei/Margaery!

GoLions

Killer episode though, yet again. They're on fire so far this season!

Really wanted another mouthful of Branflakes that ep, but I guess we'll have to wait another week or two now :(
If it doesn't confirm R+L=J soon though, I'm gonna be pissed :P
And how great was Sir Arthur Dayne! Boy oh boy WOWEE.

Jon was fantastic. Hanging all 4 of those cows so Edd wouldn't have to, as he knew he was gonna walk away anyway, was a pretty cool thing to do. AND THEN. "My watch has ended." flowering perfect.
But now, WHAT IS EDD MAY NEVER DIE, BUT RISE AGAIN, HARDER AND STRONGER.

That was NOT Shaggydog's head. I am certain of it. There is no way it'd be that small. Greywind's head was huge when he was killed, and Shaggydog has lived a fair bit longer now, so his head would have to be much bigger than what was shown. Smalljohn Umber is playing Ramsay, because THE NORTH REMEMBERS. HYPE. Didn't even swear fealty or do any oaths or anything. Called Roose a cow and saw right through Ramsay's bullshower. I love this guy already.

Varys was great.

HS was great, Tommen turning into Joffrey almost (I. Am. The King!).

Good to finally see Sam again, interested to see what happens with him.

And Arya finally got her eyesight back! Now time for her to cross off the remainign names on her list 8)

Next week's episode looks like it should be pretty good. Sansa, Brienne, and Pod arriving at Castle Black I assume, hopefully Jon is still there. He might be gone already though.

Jorah the Explorer and Daario about to flower some shower up, waiting for the arrival of Drogon as well!

LF returning! :D

More Iron Islands #hype

Then some KL stuff, might get a trial by combat not next week, but the week after (I hope).

RaisyDaisy

Another great episode!

Man I really wish I could just watch the entire season right now!

Ser Arthur Dayne and Lord Umber - are these people we have seen before? I don't recall. GL, can you a shed a bit more light on these two for me?

Ser Arthur Dayne is spoken to have been the best swordsman in Westeros, at least during the time of the mad king and all that (before Robert became king). Obviously as shown today, he was killed by Howland Reed during Roberts rebellion (iirc around 15 years before the show starts).

I could be wrong, but I think Lord Umbers father was at the red wedding? I can't remember. Someone else might be able to answer that. This is the first time we've seen him though I'm pretty sure.

Toga

Pretty sure Greatjon Umber (Father? Brother?) was at the red wedding with Catelyn & Robb. He was the one that had his hand ripped off by Grey Wind at that feast way back when Robb was king of the north ;)

RaisyDaisy

I read something that said Rickon and that lady he is with were sent to Umber for safety? Apparently he is a Winterfall dude or something
