With the Freys, basically the Lannisters and Freys organised the whole red wedding. In the books it was actually Jaime who organised it, but they kind of cut that out of the show to make him more likable. The Blackfish is still rebelling against the crown, hence why the Lannisters were sent in.

For any book readers (and potential spoilers to anyone who hasn't read the books, although it wont make sense unless you look it up)- anyone else feeling lady stoneheart coming back? With Jaime at riverrun and Brienne on her way? Apparently in the preview for episode 8 they show the brotherhood without banners?
Are you saying Jaime organized the Red Wedding, or something else? Cause it was Tywin in the books, and iirc the show as well.

And yeah, LSH a possibility now.

yeah Jaime was locked up/with Brienne/Brave companions whilst the red wedding was getting organized

My Chumps

Goooooood episode! Probably because it didn't have any Daenerys storyline in it :P

SPOILER:
Yes, I think there is a few people heading to Riverrun. The brotherhood without banners forms a lot earlier though, but Lady Stoneheart will come back, Arya is leaving to head across the Narrow Sea and The Hound wants revenge. All are obviously part of the BWB.

Yeah the Lannisters and the Frey's made an allegiance before Tywin was dead, and hence the execution of Rob and Catelyn Stark.

If you watch the season 6 #2 trailer on YouTube, you can make out shields and what not with a dark gloomy sky on an open bit of land, sort of hinting an epic battle awaiting. Can't wait.

The shields are all Bolton's army. Yes there is an epic battle to come.

Not sure if Mormont's 62 men is going to help. Although I did laugh when she said that, I was expecting something like 10,000.

I've actually started watching from the start, up to season 2, episode 4 (Battle of the 5 kings era, Stannis/Lannister/Renley/Stark/Greyjoy). Things are making a lot more sense now.

So they just announced E9 will be 60 and E10 will be 69 minutes long

Barra13

Awesome.

I'm kind of interested to see what happens with Euron Greyjoy. He suddenly comes out of nowhere from his travels, claims King of the iron islands and heads straight for Dany. Could he possibly have something in his possession that Dany wants/needs?

Faceless man spoiler, but someone on reddit just made a discovery off the trailer for next week... http://imgur.com/5wirEVI

Well that episode made no sense.
How so?

I just found it a bit disappointing in general tbh. Next week will be flowering insane though!

RaisyDaisy

Yeah that episode didn't do a great deal for me

The whole Jamie/Frey vs Blackfish story didn't do anything for me and Danearys returning was expected

Sandor/Mountain brutal kills were good, but what was up with Arya at the end just telling him she's going back home? He seemed quite happy with it - why? Surely that wasn't his plan all along? Seems like a waste otherwise

Expecting big things from the final 2 episodes

Barra13

I think Arya will join up with the Brotherhood without banners.

Still yet to see Lady Stoneheart.

Arya - Was full of plot holes and didn't make sense. I heard that they were trying to make it so that Arya was embellishing her injury and luring her to the pit, but that explains maybe 10% of what I thought was wrong with it

Blackfish - Off screen death? And he just dies for no reason? No one is that prideful surely, even Ned Stark wasn't.

KL - Was pretty okay, abolishing trial by combats was good writing because it's actually realistic

BwB - Also okay, Sandor's one liners were the highlight to me

Mereen - Joke scene started uncomfortable but ended up to be interesting. I guess they were trying to show that they trusted Tyrion, but they renege on that pretty quickly when the Masters come back?
