I've never been a fan of Houli to be honest.  :-X

Can be a bit soft at times, has been very disappointing this year if the truth be known.

Have you considered your byes - have you a need to avoid bringing in a player who is going to need to be moved out during the byes to ensure you have 18 each week?

From that list, simmo all the way. Ramadan starts in 1 month as well so i'm not sure if that will affect Houlis scoring

Someone said this last year, I think Houli is just a bit erratic but there's nothing to suggest Ramadan specifically affects him.

Yeah I had a look since I'm bringing him in this week hopefully.

Obviously it's a bigger issue if the games are before dusk.  He has 2 games, both at the MCG in the middle of winter.  Hopefully that means dehydration won't be a massive problem.

The other two weeks are a bye and a night game at Adelaide Oval.

Last year he had 4 Ramadan games, 3 were night games.

Scores were 97, 57, 117, 65
Guess which one was the day game?  The 117 of course.

So there isn't much rhyme or reason to it.

Simmo easy, if not i would actually punt on pittard. Super solid numbers

Zac Williams anyone? Can only see him go onwards and upwards from here and extremely unique. Maybe it's just because I love watching him play but I really think he can average 95-100 by years end. Jet!! Thoughts

This. Ramadan has had little/no effect on Houli's scoring in the past, there's nothing to suggest it will all of a sudden impact him now.

Would you go Boyd or Simpson?

Kade has never averaged 100 and if history is a guide will throw in the odd really awful game..

Leaning towards Boyd at the moment

Weighing up the same thing myself.... Boyds inability to play a whole season though is what worries me most! Think I'll go Simpson

Boyd played the last 11 games last year and last 10 games the year before if that means anything

Exactly my point! I don't think he can play 18+ games Simpson though almost certainly will based on history!

Same choice for me. Very tempted to just get in Simmo for some consistency down back, but two 120s in a row from Boyd attracts my attention. If he can keep up those scores with no one around him stealing points (Bob, JJ, Suckling), then his boat will have sailed before I get a chance to pick him up. But a chance of missing games late and the Dogs dream run at Edihad almost over though. Hmmm........

I had deleted my post, Boyd missed more than i calculated!

I've gone Boyd, hope to get Simmo in later though. I expect to pounce after he scores a 30~ one week.
