And DBJ nabs it! Only fitting, Petracca will have to keep improving ;)

New York 1225 + Waite 49 + Thompson 78 + HGA 49 = 1401

Vs

PNL 1025 + Billings 75 + Westhoff 121 + Wingard 76 + Keays 64 = 1361

HGA has got us over the line.

Can confirm, a big upset has occurred  :o

Stay tuned!

Claps of Thunder send Samurai Home

These are one of my favourite performances. Beijing was VERY consistent all around, with a high HGA of 59 defining their 15 man contribution. The Samurai are a different outfit with an under-performing Luke Parker.

London be GAWN!

Don't let the scoreline fool you; the Brewers were pretty ordinary except for Captain Gawn's monstrous effort and Byrne-Jones clinching performance. The Royals had more contributors, but Gawn proved too much for them. Had Berlin Captained any other player, London would have won.

Dublin do it without Goldy

The Destroyers... sent a message by dropping Goldstein? Sure, let's go with that, and not the fact that Holz probably would have wanted to rest him, seeing as he named the suspended Rance :P The Cobras just needed more from their young guns.

Saints Heaven; Tiger Frustration

This was a really good performance from the Saints. They only had three players score less than 70 and the rest all put in worthy contributions. The Tigers would be frustrated that they scored the 8th highest score of the round and lost, but Worlds is an unforgiving mistress. Jack Martin would be on notice with that ugly 25 too.

Revolution Rise over Fighting Reindeers

This was a close one, and was decided by New York's HGA in the end! Although four co-captains couldn't crack the ton in this match, nine others did and New York won that count 5-4 in what was the decider in the end.

Islanders brush aside Sands

It was close for a while there, but too much responsibility fell on returning Cairo Captain Beams to take the Sands home with only Mumford tonning up. Meanwhile, the Islanders showed that you can still score high with just two defenders.

Jaguars Win in Ugly Affair

Well... I suppose the Jags are still recovering from that Dublin trauma! Despite scoring the fourth lowest score of the round, the Jaguars found a way to win as they breath a sigh of relief. The Spetsnaz, again, just need their players back.

Young Seoul triumph over Experienced Suns

Now this is the kind of win you could look back on at the end of the season, and say "that's when we arrived". The Magpies, although lucky the Suns weren't at their offensive best, got the 4th highest score of the round in a very consistent all round performance! The Suns will be filthy, but they'll dust themselves off and get back on with it next week.

Buenos Aires: 2016 Champions of the Redraft

Another 130+ performance for the Dillos and another win! Captain Pendles was probably the difference in the end, although recruit Josh Wagner and the returning Andrejs Everitt certainly helped too! Amazing, the Wolves lowest individual score was 54 in an even spread of scores in the 60-90 range with only Pittard tonning up.

But Seoul get their first win against Mexico City  :D
