Anyone looking at pouncing next week? Has  BE of 132 and is likely to hit 490k with another 80ish score. Had a look through the years and he can start slowly and then fire up, think I prefer him to the likes of Houli & Boyd.

GoLions

Will most likely find his way into my final team, would have started him if he played from round 1

_wato

Would like him but am looking at Hanners in two weeks and without culling rookies id have Buddy Titch Hanners Mills Pap

Surely overkill if Parker continues to be a must have also

Raiden

His added to my SC watchlist, waiting for him to bottom out then will more then likely grab him as a POD pending he can show signs of going 100+

Call me crazy but I'm trying to avoid Parker, his ownership is through the roof and if he goes through one of his slumps then I stand a chance of making up some ground. Had him in the draft league last year and he can be a bit of a roller coaster.

You're relying on him to slump to catch up, but in the meantime you fall further behind by not having him

I'd want to see more from McVeigh before looking to get him. Swans are a different side now and he might not be relied on as much previously

kilbluff1985

Boyd this week
Rocky Next week
McVeigh the week after

is my plan

Not falling behind at all, just using the buy low, sell high principle. Would rather pay 500k for Priddis or Gray than spend 600k on Parker. I would also prefer to use the money to have a premo on every bench, reckon there will be more value in the long run by adopting this principle.

As for McVeigh, don't think his role will change too much, he's still a leader at the club and one of their better users of the pill. 490k for a guy who can feasibly hit 105 is a bargain, reckon his floor is 95 so no major risk attached.

McVeigh might come into consideration for me if he posts a couple of good scores, with the interrupted pre season expected a slow start. Was looking at Laird in 2 weeks but if he's out for 3 it won't fit into my planned upgrades.

Think I'll be grabbing Parker this week. If he keeps up his current scoring I'm ahead of those they don't have him and not falling further behind those that already have him. If he slumps with his current ownership the damage is somewhat negated. I've passed on him twice already ( Rocky and Fyfe injuries) so biting the bullet and grabbing him this week.

sammy123

will look at him very soon. may do adams>mcveigh in a few weeks

fanTCfool

Keen on McVeigh, but would like to see back-to-back good scores and a bit of price stability before I look to bring him in.
Was one I had pencilled in down back before the end of last year, in hope he gained DPP, sure enough he did.

agree if he gets under 500 then will be good option for my last def prem.   other options would be kk, bsmith, houli  and mcveigh would have less downside risk imo.

Holz

Does mills do damage him or vice versa?

Or nil effect

timtim

Give him a few games to get back in the swing of things, then bang! Get him in.

Will be similar to Jelwood - i.e. no pre-season = take a few games to get going, price drops (hopefully sub $500k) then Adams > McVeigh

Bully

Mitch Brown has a BE of 1 so will probably hit 265k next week based on his average, Bennedy to Petracca/Keays will net in the region of 180k. This is what I'll be aiming for (have 40k in the bank).

As for Adams, would prefer to keep at this stage, he's the type who will be very handy for bench coverage.
