want to bring him in. but gone smith instead with a premo upgraded.

then next week i will probs bring in keays.

unfortunately the big cox misses out

Bully

Have him on the bench already so fortunate I don't have to blow a trade, seems to be a much better bet than Grimley.

Douglas Howard is a better option in my opinion and will be bringing him in. First ruck should score decently

That doesn't provide ruck coverage since he can only be picked as a forward.

Doesn't everyone realise he is a Fwd/Ruck?

Menadue->Cox is what I'm seriously looking at this week, pocket the 100k for a triple upgrade the week after.

Have bye rounds come early?  ::)
Haha let me clear this up:

I'll go Weits->Smith and Menadue->Cox, I can then upgrade twice the week (Dea/McCarthy/Mills) after and then go Bennedy->Gunston/Hall/Merrett.

Of course, even if I couldn't use three trades a week I wouldn't.

Cox has outscored both howard and currie so far. Seems like the superior pick on numbers alone.

Was going double downgrade to Smith and Cox which would give approx $500k in the kick for next week, but with Petracca a must next week, I cant get both this week.
Probably one up one down this week and next, and of the two I will probably take Smith...

Had him since round 1.
Same, thought he would play more/earlier games than Grimley. Turns out they've both played the same weeks but not unhappy with my choice.

going Smith over him as my downgrade.

if i wanted a ruck it would be currie
Has anybody assessed how much Cox is likely to generate and over how many weeks?   Also JS with Cloke potentially to come back in (before he goes to Freo at the end of the year)

Probably a 50 avg player at best.   So max of 250K and likely to be only early 200K when byes arrive.   Not sure I can see the upside other than as ruck cover.

I think he will be a good option. I think he's got fairly decent JS, as he looks like he can exploit defences with his height and he's been pretty impressive. Think a 60 average is about right. Any Collingwood supporters wanna shed any light on his JS?

This is the main thing I am after, I am seriously considering Cox for this and I have Read to swing forward so I can use Cox as an emergency, the thing I am trying to decide though is if I am just better off forking out the cash for Currie.

I really want to do grab Smith and then make an upgrade this week, but something is telling me I should just double down and grab Cox too, mostly because I have spud Grimley at R3 so having Cox at F8 would give me the flexibility to swing him into rucks for cover if need be

On the other side though, I much rather the upgrade because then my fwd bench is Petracca and Papley which is solid

Flower, not sure what to do

I think this is the main thing right now. The fact there seem to be two viable options for ruck coverage under 200k won't probably happen again this season. I think it's almost essential to jump on one of Cox or Currie because while you may lose 40 points this week not upgrading Kennedy to someone like Zorko, you could make up 80 points later in the year with the coverage at R3. Teams aren't going to be afraid to rest players through the year and you don't want to be copping a donut in the ruck with a couple of 1 week rests.
