There no one fix all move Holz other than plonking someone at R3 like a Currie Cox type priced player, saves some coin and a trade which could be used down the track if a ruck does go missing and Currie/Cox is unavailable. Not sold on Lycett/Cox being the best option, cost more in cash and an extra trade.

agree leaning towards screw it, i cant plan about the possibility of needing cover or dpp swithcing lines.

what I know is Dahl should destroy Lycett so lets go all in.

no cover for me.

only 330 points off the leader so could play it safe and probably look at a top 100 finish, but hey lets go for the number 1 spot.

To be honest mate if you're not number 1 at the end who cares where you finish, a decent rank will only ever be just another decent year whereas being number 1 is everything and will last eternity.  If there's a chance Go hard or go home I say.

Hello fellow supercoaches,

two options under consideration

1/ Dea to Selwood and Weits to Smith  (more points) or

2/ Dea to Simpson and Weits to Smith (better balance dpp fm and fd)

Appreciate your thoughts.

Especially the advice from the drumming beatle and Raze Daze

Ringo

basically depends how your lines are shaping up and which lines you want to strengthen now.

Trading Dea is a miust but Weitering will not lose any cash this week if you want to do another upgrade.  Selwood has a B/e of 69 and Simmo 73 so both due to rise. Do not know how many prem defenders you have but if you have only 2 i would get Simmo now. If you are OK with defenders then do Selwood.

backpocket

bennedy > smith
Weits to Simpson

Or

bennedy > smith
Weits > dusty via fwd/def DPP

I have a weak backline, supported by Shaw (Laird) plus rookies whereas mids are relatively strong, Parker, Danger, Hannebery, Barlow, Shiel, Pendles, Libba, Mills etc. so might go with Simmo. Thanks for the input.

Didn't realize one of us was so close so well done so far Holz. One of the main reasons I did alright last year was because of my forward ruck cover in big Maxy Gawn, so having that option was a godsend. I don't know about Cox though. Don't think  he'll be around towards the end of the year anyway so wasted cover in my opinion so go with your original plan I say.

My thinking is Shaw is THE most outstanding player in his line - apart from Waite!

Cheap and had a low BE.

Get him

justaverage

Have ended up going
Bennedy -> Smith
Tippa -> Rocky
