Hard one Rusty - Dea has a break even of 94 so may drop quite a few dollars. Tippa has a B/E of 64 which he may achieve.

On the other side Shaw has a B/E of 55 and Simmo a B/E of 73.

So the question is basically do you chase points or dollars,  If chasing points then Shaw trade but if Dollars Simmo.
Seeing as Shaw is a must have and won't get any cheaper, I'd argue that if chasing dollars, you'd still get Shaw

Shaw and Smith thanks bartender

Libba -> Smith
Weitering -> Zorko/Roo/Dahlhaus.

Leaning towards Roo (little bit of bias involved). His Rnd 1 was beyond horrible, got injured on 86 in half a game, avging career high marks and disposals, and has still kicked 15 goals. Plus only in 1.9% of teams.

My bias paid off with Joey after the byes, hoping it does the same this year.

Big trade week

1. Weits to Smith and then Mccarthy to Dahl (80k in the bank) improves my 22 alot and gives me the cash to get the best premo fwd or mid next week.

con: zero ruck cover for Goldy NN

2. Weits to Lycett and Goetz to Cox (20k in the bank) pro is obvious I have double cover for rucks.

cons: I have to compromise on premo fwd/mid e.g. Rocky over Pridda and Gunston over Dmart.

Currie rather than Lycett may boost your cash reserve? - for option 2. May let you get both Pridda and Dmart?

currie is a ruck only though.

option 3 is

Weits to Smith and Goetz to Currie.

400k in the bank but still need to get racca.

also if currie is dropped at some point them im still left with no cover and then a wasted trade and currie costs me 50 points. also im dropping points by playing Mccarthy over Dahl.

There no one fix all move Holz other than plonking someone at R3 like a Currie Cox type priced player, saves some coin and a trade which could be used down the track if a ruck does go missing and Currie/Cox is unavailable. Not sold on Lycett/Cox being the best option, cost more in cash and an extra trade.

agree leaning towards screw it, i cant plan about the possibility of needing cover or dpp swithcing lines.

what I know is Dahl should destroy Lycett so lets go all in.

no cover for me.

only 330 points off the leader so could play it safe and probably look at a top 100 finish, but hey lets go for the number 1 spot.
