Round 7 trades.

I've got a few options and not sure what is best. Advice would be appreciated.

The get Shaw at all costs plan:
Tippa - Smith
Adams - Shaw

Upgrade/downgrade:
Tippa - Smith
Menadue/Kennedy - Boyd or Rocky (got DPP so can trade out either rookie no worries).

Double downgrade:
Tippa - smith
Menadue - Cox or Tucker.

I'm leaning towards the traditional upgrade/downgrade this week, but not sure on how important it is to get Shaw...

Upgrade/downgrade.  Adams can stay for the time being, healthy average. Go for Rocky, I would bring Rocky in this week but have good cover in my midfield so bringing a defender in.

Laird out and on the pine going Shaw over Rocky.    If go Rocky then playing Adams, Tippa, Byrne Jones  whereas if go Shaw play Mills/Kerridge/Smith  second option seems better

Now that Laird is out I'll be getting Simmo/Boyd for Weits and Bennedy to Smith. Think next week probably double downgrade.

Laird out really flowered my plans in getting a premo mid this week...most likely Selwood. Ahhh the joys of supercoach  :P

Yep, definitely Tippa. Unfortunately for me though, going to have to keep him this week with Laird and Weitering both out, and Lonergan being an absolute spud :(

Well i have the same issues both Weitering an Laird out and I'm reluctant to play M Brown against the Swans  ;D

With Laird out, you need to look at bringing in a premium defender, definitely Shaw if you don't have him
I'd go Tippa over McDonald

Weitering/BKen to Simpson/Smith. Left with 56k in the bank and will most likely be doubling down next week if there are no good bubble boys in 2 weeks to allow a double upgrade.

Holding Laird in all formats. Whether I hold or trade him, I am left with the same amount of premiums on field. May as well go for the option that has one extra premium overall.

Shaw's price is about to skyrocket, BE of 55. As a Lions fan, as much as I love Rocky (the one true GOAT), I gotta take Shaw over him this week.

Im hearing you re shaw! The question I ask is will rocky get back to averaging premium numbers....be looked good v swans.

I'd be shocked if he didn't. He came into round 1 with zero pre-season, then injured his calf (iirc). Came back, with still basically o match-fitness, now has a couple of games under his belt, should be back to his best in no more than 2-3 weeks time (if not 100% already).
