looking at downgrading to smith and upgrading  to a fwd premo.

issue is then do we double downgrade to get Keays and Racca?

or jump on one now so can do a downgrade upgrade next week

if i get smith then double downgrade ill be looking at 500k in the bank and im not far off overall so could cost me.
Dilemma a lot of coaches will face this week. (except without the being near overall :D )  What normally costs more,  missing a rookie that performs or missing a prem upgrade?    Based on my limited experience missing the rookie seems more costly.

Which concurs with my comment 2 above  ::)

Smith seems a must this week if selected

Trying to push up in the overall I grabbed Tucker last week. Which means Smith and Franklin in this week. But likely double down next week. Always prefer not to do it.. but sometimes the rookies are available at the same time. Next week will likely be Petracca and Keays in for Hewett and Brown. And Mills to any mid prem the week after. Thats the grand plan. Leaves me with 4 ugrades left and 19 trades.

Last week Parker and Petracca, this week Selwood and Smith, next week another premo and Keays.

For those considering Keays reckon his LS is questionable unless his performance demands retention.  He is currently being used as a lead up forwrad replacing Josh Green who is probably only out for 2 weeks and then we have Beams returnig who will more than likely squeeze him further.  Matthieson has also starred in his return in NEAFL furether puttig pressure on.  Just something to consider for those pencilling him in as downgrade option next week.

Question was asked on Libba.  He has a B/e of 89 this week which heay achieve,  Even if he does not will not drop by much and as has been said will still avearge more than a rookie so I will be keeping him and he may be my last mid upgrade.

My issues are these rookies nearing or at peak:

Dea B/E 94
Walla B/E 64
Adams B/E 58
Mills B/E 33
Davis B/E 38
Bennedy B/E 51
McCarthy B/E 43
Menadue B/E 31

All rooks starting to peak now and will require some adjustments,

Dea is priority and he may go to Tucker if named and then one of the forawrds mids ro smith,

Then starting to look at downgrade upgrades over the following 2 weeks,

The decisions i have this week is to trade Libba to Parker or Selwood.....or double downgrade Tippa & B Kennedy to Tucker & Smith........and need to see whats happening with Weitering and Laird aswell  :o

I would deal with Tippa, Weits and Ben Ken before Libba.

All good points and i agree, Libba will be my final mid upgrade also, with Kerridge my last.
I am trading Dea this week to Smith as most others are.
My 2nd trade is either Tippa to Shaw
Or Tippa to Tucker.
I have all the above rooks and need to get Petracca next week.

So maybe 1up/1down this week and next.

Most of the B/Es above are achievable, (I traded out Dea last week for Hanners)

Libba is a mid pricer that has now peaked, he has a BE of 89, and scored just 70 in the weekend and is up against Adelaide this week.

I would much rather trade him now for Parker, who has a BE of 69 and is expected to rise in price by another $30K

Agree the cash to hard to ignore and the scoring is ok also just quietly.

Last week Parker and Petracca, his week Selwood and Smith, next week another promo and Keays.

That's working out well.

I somewhat agree.... and am thinking the same reason behind your thoughts on Libba - Parker.

Most B/Es are achievable besides Dea, if Weitering is out you can hold or downgrade/upgrade with 1 trade, but i see Davis, McCarthy and Menadue as pointless trades as they are slow burners and can continue to sit there on your bench.

But i also believe Libba's time is up, didn't have a single clearance 2 weeks ago and on friday night looked slow.
Parker is a must have and if you don't have him you will be chasing the pack in my opinion.

Libba copped a massive corky early in last week's game, spent a lot of time on the bench in the 2nd quarter and then predominantly forward in the second half because of this. 70 was a pretty good score considering this.

Playing Adelaide shouldn't have much of an effect on his scoring.

Completely agree. Seems a lot of people missed it. He did well to play the game out and give us 70 points.

Bully

Don't see any point trading out Libba, will hold for the season and eventually move him to M9.
