Laird and Rance were my starting premium backs looked like I had that right a couple of weeks back. Got Weitering too.
Priddis missed a week and spudded lately, Rocky has been and left my team, still got Crouch hoping he'd be back every week for weeks, traded Barlow to Fyfe so Laird out for 3 is so what really...might jump on Boyd and Shaw this week now so avoid them at all costs of you're thinking I'm a jinx.

Unfortunately I have no DEF on other lines so i'll probably look at upgrading Weitering to Simpson, holding onto Laird. Wanting to being in Smith so this is the only way.

Laird out is really annoying. If I do my current trades which are Weitering and Tippa to Smith and Dahl, I have to field one of Hartley or Brown. But if I grab Simpson instead of Dahl, I can field Bennedy instead.

So basically it's Simpson and Bennedy or Dahl and Hartley/Brown?

Both keepers, look at BE's to see if that makes a difference, but Simpson against Bombers and Bennedy against GC will prob net you more points...now do the opposite...  ::)

The ball is going to be in Essendon's backline 98% of the time so Hartley could get a few possies and intercept marks playing full back/center half back
Im trying to find any positives knowing I have to play one of the Essendon defender rookies for Laird hahaha  :(

Looks like a premo defender e.g. Boyd or Simpson has to come in

With Laird out will hold off on Rockliff and proceed with Shaw this week.   Park Laird on the bench.   Just changes the priority of line completion slightly.     To complete backline need Shaw and one of Smith, Docherty, KK and McVeigh.  Will get Shaw, then move on to complete mids and take whichever def is best suited by price and byes.
