I hate trading out cheap rookies, feels like such a waste of a trade, as much as I would love to get rid of him!!
I will probably trade Tippa, bring Bartel back to defence (shifted him down when I traded out two mids a couple of weeks ago) and then bring in Smith.

Agree - Davis at $186k doesn't provide enough return for me. I'll keep Davis and hopefully he keeps getting games and creeps up over the $200-$250k mark. I'll prob look to offload Bennedy or Menadue...

Agree with this.
There is very little in the reserves at the Pies that would suggest he would get dropped.
Scores aside, he was one of few on the weekend that gave a 4 quarter effort. Had a couple of bad turnovers but showed a bit of pace which we lack BADLY.

As a Piemen i wasn't sold on this kid at the start.
His DE isn't great and cost us a few goals last couple of weeks.

That being said i'll be grabbing him mainly due to:
- Plays running off half back
- Prefers kicks to handballs
- Contested possies very good
- But the main reason is he will def keep his spot over the next month with the following Pie injuries:
Langdon, Varcoe, Marley Williams, Ramsay, Scharenberg, Ben Sinclair, Elliot, Gault, Swan, Witts.

Davis out makes him probably leap to the top of the chopping block, butalso got Menadue and McCarthy who seem pretty close to topped out... Tigers vs Hawks and Cats vs Eagles don't look great for either of them too, so thinking maybe one of them and hold Davis because he won't lose cash?

More than likely next week whichever two I don't trade this week will go to Petracca and Keays anyway so really it's just who should go this week for Smith...

Got Tippa but no swingman to drop him, was gonna trade him to Heater but with Laird and Weits both out I think it has to be Weits instead, meaning Tippa stays.
