It's not imperative that you get every rookie on the bubble, just enough to keep the cashflow going, if you miss one just forget about them and move on.  Get the ones that will make enough money to be worth it.

Exactly, we don't have to get every rookie. I didn't get Hartley or Ruggles, and everything is chugging along fine without them. Has to be a pretty exceptional crop of rookies for me to bring somoen in early, and I would never do it without at least seeing one game. Even then, people tend to get excited when someone goes well in one game, but if you bring in a rook who goes 120, 15, 16, 12, 19, that 120 is gone quick and they lose you money...

There has been a fair amount of hype associated with the "coming of Petracca".  At last.  Usually, but not always, this hype is pretty much on the money, wouldn't you say?  I think he'll turn out to be a pretty handy footballer.  Bennedy's scoring has been on a downhill dip over the past few weeks, so the timing is excellent.

people are so hungry to get this bloke in. they started him when he wasnt named rd 1, now they want to get him in before the bubble. if you have a mid pricer that needs to go of your on field  rookies are trash maybe its worth a go, he might put up some big scores staright up, but picking him just because there might be other rookies maybe is an unecessary risk

well you can trade out defenders to get him in or Dunkley who is wasting space unless he plays this weekend
