Cripps, Yeo and Mackie all late outs this week. :( Wow.

Shocking luck mate. Even though Holz had Goldy spud as C you copping those 3 outs is way worse

I'm sure you'll meet again in the finals

Now Robbo has been concussed. Ahaha What a horrible week.

Robbo ends on 133

my boy weits though goes down on 22. kills my HGA too

Need a big one from Treloar and Lewis Jetta.

Jetta terrible on 43 but Treloar a solid 83 at 3/4 time

Weitering gets subbed out for Byrne

Well Shannon flowering Hurn has cost us the game

No he hasn't. Live scores late in the WCE v Collingwood game if my numbers are right.

New York 1261 + Rosa HGA 52 + JJK 93 + Hurn 56 = 1462

v

Beijing 1354 + Grundy 78 = 1432

Well he did when he was on 30 at 3/4 time and JJK was 60 odd

Massive final quarter by my boys have got us over the line

Also helped that Grundy scored about 15 in the 2nd half considering he was 60+ at 1/2 time and ended on 78

1461 vs 1432 pre-scaled  :)

Josh Smith (89) & Byrne-Jones (70) 8)

Not bad for a couple of WXV debutants  :D

Toga

GG NY, was a close one. Pretty filthy that Brad Ebert's knee likely cost us the points but that's the game I guess.

Would've helped if Grundy did a single thing in the second half :-X

You were unlucky mate. A couple of things went against you in what was a tight game.

Buenos Aires Crisp Victory

WOW! How did this game sneak under my radar?! Boy howdy! The Dillos looked done I thought, but then here came Captain Pendles (100) and more importantly Jack Crisp (124) to drag the dillos over the line by 6 SC points!!! Wow, amazing this isn't the only game that was decided by HGA for the week, but the Cobras would be filthy at letting this one be stolen from them. I also can't help but notice that Hero Peter Wright may have turned to villain in one week, with a costly score of 34 following his amazing 141 on debut.

#157
Magpies soar above Blowing Sands

Not for the first time (but yet, the only team IIRC that has ever done this) Cairo's OOP midfielders have struck again, but it was a Captain Danger and sidekick Whitfield inspired victory for the Magpies that has seen them post a very respectable score.

Cairo Sands (19.7.121) lost to Seoul Magpies (22.8.140)

Islanders escape with hard earned Coconuts

The Saints surely couldn't get away with this one in a game that neither team wanted to win, but they didn't as the Islanders post yet another noble win against quality opposition. It was won and lost in the ruck duel, with Saints Roughead (26) being... outscored... by Islander Leuenberger (56); the 30 point difference reflecting the final margin of 29 points in the end.

Dublin victorious in Amazing Comeback

Well there you go ey? I totally wrote off the Destroyers after Captain Goldstein (49) had a stinker early in the match and from then on, Rio just had to concentrate on not choking and they would have won. Alas, the upcoming power team still has a bit to learn over the supreme destroyers. Debutant Ciaran Byrne was thrust into the frying pan in this match and proved the difference in the end (when you consider HGA effects had Weitering stayed on)!

Dublin Destroyers (22.10.142) def Rio de Janeiro Jaguars (21.7.133)

Dublin: Joel Selwood, Rory Sloane, Adam Treloar, Marc Murphy, Dustin Martin, Lance Franklin, Jack Gunston

Suns Round 6 Champions

Yup. This is what I was waiting for; when Mexico City to take out the top score for the week. Still, 152 is a pretty low top score... bah, anyway, the Royals guns tried, but they're still developing and will be richer for the experience.

unlucky Rio

i thought i was gone with goldy and nds on friday night.

always keep the faith though as others can get me across the line. Jelwood is back and might be getting his captaincy back!!!

we both underpeformed so if we meet again i hope its at full strength.

Rance Yarran Roughy cant come back quick enough

Purple 77

Revolution Ruckus louder than Thunder

Probably turned out to be the match of the round in the end! The Revolution win on HGA in a rollercoaster last day which saw both teams looking like they might win. Even Captain Duncan (98) did OK! Brodie Grundy just had to keep going for the Thunder, and Bradley Hill I suspect won't be in the coaches good books.

New York Revolution (23.9.147) def Beijing Thunder (23.6.144)
