North Melbourne the only undefeated team so far and Gold Coast had their first defeat at the hands of Brisbane last week.  Suns will be looking to bounce back but a lot will depend on how Currie and wright shape up to Goldstein in the ruck. Suns were beaten in contested possessions last week and will be looking to turn this around this week. Can the Suns defensive line with May and Thompson curb Waite and Petrie.  Think North will continue on their winning way.

Very weak tall defenders, Norths big men going to have a ball. Lynch to kick a bag as well.

Nicholls axing is bizarre

1) He has a terrible record previously against Goldy
2) He allowed Josh Walker to have 21 hitouts against him in a half of footy after Stef Martin was concussed.

Bit of an odd one, he's not been having a great season (last week was his first good game statistically and that was mostly because Stef got flowered up) but to trust 4-gamer Currie over him to lead the ruck is a big call - we'll see how good of a decision that was Saturday I suppose.

North should get this one and stay top.

Actually it's the calf. They have heavily bandaged it and he is back out now.

Of course I have gone Gaz VC and he has copped an injury early meanwhile Goldy is sitting on 25 not even half way through the first.

They showed a replay of the Gaz injury and it's a kick to the inside of the calf so it's probably a corkie.
