You can't take him if you already have someone like a crouch/Gibbs/Libba who will fill m8
but if your midfield is pure premo's he could be worth the risk.

In all honesty though what would he need to average from here to be worth the trade ? (and no, scoring just above his current price tag
is not worth the trade)

I think you would want 106-107 + for the remainder of the year to be considered a successful selection.

I would be looking more along the lines of him being a M8 - M9  don't know if Libba is going to be good enough to keep at this stage , just a very handy player to have
Murph is definitely an option.   For me want 105-110 for balance of season.     Only as an upgrade target, would be a luxury to trade libba to murph.   Plenty of other trades to do before that one.     Just keep in mind you $ cost per point would be very low if he gets over 105.

I won't be trading Libba for him , just not sure about Libba long term

What are those people (like myself) going to do with him?

Started off with a ton when I got him and three scores in the nineties after that and now an injured 12. Hasn't shown the form I wanted to be an M8/9 keeper and with Libba as well, probably can't afford to carry both. BE is probably huge now as well so if he plays and his ankle gets worse, could cost quite a bit to upgrade. Thinking about cutting my losses this week.

Was happy enough with him until this week, unfortunately have been hit with a 12 and have lost 20k on my original investment. He's having scans so is 50/50 at this stage, not sure I'll hold on in any case and will bring in Robbie Gray who has bottomed out. Think Libba is probably the man for M9 and I'll reserve my last midfield position for Dan Hannebury.

He is going to be a tempting sideways trade in a couple of weeks.

Jay

If he's playing, he stays. I picked him as a keeper.

He could be the perfect round 14 or 15 trade. I haven't ruled out bringing him back as a near straight swap with Hopper.

what was up with libba's score this week  :'(

13 contested possessions
6 clearances
3 clangers

I get the impression Libba's a little unsure as to what exactly his role is at present. They'll sort it out.  But it better be sooner than later.

So is this confirmed? AFL site has him in doubt atm, if he's gone for 3+ then I'm obviously gonna trade. But if only 1-2 then I may hold.

Eh, not really. He was always gonna miss that game, the same with every other player who will miss their bye. If he might miss more than 3, then missing games during the byes (outside of his own) means he has to go.

Mat0369

I am assuming it is a high ankle sprain then? When I heard a sprain initially I was hoping it wasn't that, the are generally 4-6 week injuries.
