A bit of a loophole warning to those with Grimley as their option

Even if he's named Emergency only, if he's a late in, you'll be stuck with him as the C, with few options to change to unless you have a premo in the last game!

Just thought I'd mention it, as I've been stung in the past with this scenario, and it hurts when you've got a premo locked on the bench at 100+, and you get a Captain's score of 40-odd doubled instead...

I'm really thinking about giving the VC to someone other than GAJ or Goldy

Not sure, but feel like this could be the week to try something different, with Fyfe C as insurance

Haven't been able to agree with much you have said lately(not that I have said so) But This is my way of thinking as well - and pray they kill
It

Should the two of you need conflict resolution guidance, give me a call.  :P

Goldy against Currie/Wright as VC into Fyfe makes a lot of sense now.

I think GCS have thrown Currie in because he will know how to play against Goldy.
Should be a good score but i reckon Currie will work him hard physically and stop him going massive.

Fyfe C haven't worked out the VC yet maybe Hanners/Laird
Yes show some love for Hanners. 100, 121, 125, 129 and first round he was knocked out at 3/4 time. Think he flys under the radar a bit. VC Hanners. and be confident :)
I was hoping he would stay under the radar ;)

ants

sticking with what i have done all year ablett into danger!

north have given up the least 100+ Dt scores

wouldnt go near Gaz and i think hall will go small.

I see you regularly bringing up DT scores here for comparison

No offense, but who gives a shower? They are completely different scoring systems

Sorry, just don't see how DT numbers are of any use for a SC based game
They can still be used to compare. DT is basic raw stats, no influence or scaling.
Can certainly considered when predicting output of players

Yes you can compare, but it's apples and oranges and I just don't see how any comparison that could be made would be of any real relevance
No, no it doesn't.

If the statement was "North give up the least 25+ Possession games to players this year" do you consider it??
Of course you do

Its the same thing. Basic output. Has to be considered

Thank Rico

Raisy I bring up DT stats because I get some of my stats from that comp. I read that north gave up the least 100+ scores in DT and didnt have the stat for SC. Its a very very important stat as Rico said it means that north dont let players get big bags of possesions. DT to SC correlation is very important, certain players you know have certain DT to SC ratios. Thats why Im less worried about Alex Rance playing a team that restrict DT points as his SC to DT ratio is soo high so actually can be positively affected by opposition that restrict DT.

Ablett is current operating at 1.15 SC to DT ratio in 2014 he ran at that same ratio.

So based off that if North can restrict him to only 100 DT then historically he unlikely to have a 125+ game.

Fyfe scored 141 against North last week. Just saying.

I have a few options, I am looking at one of three guys for VC and what sucks is two play each other. Parker, Gaz or Goldy for VC and they would be going into Fyfe.

had to kick 4 goals to do that and the game was always on the line.

North have a very poor record against GC, especially up there. It's also very possible Gaz snags 2-3 goals. I'll requote his recent history

Actually, I just looked it up

2015: 124 (first game back after the layoff at the start of the season)
2014: 141
2013: 153
2012: 188
2011: 139

RaisyDaisy

I'll probably wuss out, but am seriously tempted to do Fyfe into Pendles for something different

Knowing my luck Goldy or GAJ would go massive though haha

Fyfe's locked and loaded as C, easy 150 against Carlton.  8)

Reckon Jacobs will tag Hall rather than Ablett though.
