There's a few decent downgrade options down back this week, and I'm sure I won't be the only one trying to pick between them! Probably would be leaning toward Byrne-Jones at the moment, looked good today in a terrible loss for Port. Byrne probably has the best JS? Pick away!

DBJ offers the best job security, with carlile still 3-4 weeks away, and has good scoring potential.

Lock.

DBJ anyday of the week.

This. DBJ is an athletic freak as well, absolutely blitzed the combine. No problems with him running out games.

Need the cash from Ruggles..but yeah i think all have pros/cons...

Thoughts on Milera and Papley to Ruggles and DBJ?

Good trades.

I voted Byrne minus Jones, he could have got a lot more points against the Bulldogs if he didn't spend so much time getting medical attention. Only 77% TOG. Blues gave it to him a lot off the half back and trusted his boot (11 kicks to 4 handballs) to go long and hit up targets.

How do you rate his job security?

Probably not the best, at this point he may well be the first to go for Walker, but it is tough to call in a side like ours. Especially given that Walker has the ability to play all over the ground, and with Jamison out, they might not drop a defender to bring back Walker.
We did seem pretty keen on this bloke last year though, and he hasn't done anything to lose his spot in the side, so I'd like to see him continue to get a run.

TL;DR, I'm not really sure.

It is also worth noting that Simon White is also out of the side at the current time, but Byrne should be in front of him given his youth.

I do wonder what the results of this poll would be if Ruggles had shown better efficiency over the weekend (he did have 17 touches) and Byrne-Jones hadn't just scored near 100.

I'm not considering Wagner, but having a tough time deciding between the other three. Each should get at least a couple more games, but not sure about JS beyond that. Ruggles has the most mature body but Geelong also have a good side. My instinct tells me that Byrne will get the most games for the rest of the year, out of the three of them.

DBJ seems to have also jumped in front of Impey further enhancing his JS Claim.

Wagner or Ruggles with the better JS?

A lot of coaches here traded Ruggles in last week too it seems, he would be my pick in terms of JS.

I'll probably grab DBJ this week if I can.. Already have Ruggles and Hartley, so might have to drop Papley and move Adams forward
