My defensive rooks have been a blessing especially with the Def/Fwd link
I have Adams (BE 9) AMT (BE -36) Brown (BE 16) Weitering (BE -6)
None of these rooks are cooked, so unless downgrade Lonergan I would be holding
BUT if id do something it would be Ruggles if named this week - cheapest, mature body, good JS well good enough to make money

I assume a lot are looking to get rid of Papley, Milera, JJ and whoever else is annoying them.

A few rookies on offer, pending selection of course.

Which 2?

Cheers for any comments too regarding JS etc.

If I can't choose between them, I might pick 2x Byrne

I'm a little worried about the JS of Ruggles, as we saw with McCarthy, Scott seems to like randomly dropping blokes.

More about managing them I think. McCarthy will hopefully be back this week.  If he is, I think you can pick Ruggles with some confidence.

Hope so.

Boris will be back this week too.

Not sure who goes out if both he and McCarthy come in.

These decisions always seem to come back and bite you in the butt later in the season.
Dont like Ruggles JS,  so have gone paps>byrne and milera>dbj
Hopefully McCarthy comes back in this week or next week.  Assumes SMartin plays.    If Smartin out then probably SM to Goldy and Paps to Ruggles  or do paps to M Cox

Jeppa (writer at DTTalk) thinks Wagner is the best option. Does that change anyone's opinions?

Definitely grabbing Ruggles at his price after retaining his spot in the side. Don't mind the odd week off for a rest ala McCarthy.

Wagner is 21 yo. Played neafl and was named in neafl team of the year last year. So he is mature and has some runs on the board. Is named on a wing.
Dbj  is a kid and named on the bench???
Ruffles is mature but named last on the bench ??????
Byrne is named BP
Not sure how much we can read into this tho

If port lose to geel (likely) does hinkley make more changes next week? Dbj ???

Any thoughts on whether Lee/Tucker could be worth the wait and not get one of DBJ/Ruffles this week? Too many defense rookies around. Bound to choose the wrong one! ::)

have the same dilemma ! Starting to think rotating the back rooks as they fatten up is the way to go and upgrade on other lines! Having a rookie filled backline could make a lot of money!
