Unless Grimley gets a game next week I will have a donut if Stef doesnt play.   Considering Barlow to Griffen tomorrow morning,    Gets me R/F coverage and as sole ruck Griff could average 90 which is better than Barlow is.  This then enables me to downgrade rooks next week as Paps, Milera and hewitt all need culling.


?? over Barlow are dealt with, cover my ruck donut and still able to trade out rooks next week.    Your thoughts on this trade appreciated?


Edit:  TV coverage said Sandi 4 ribbs plated and 1 rib removed 12-14 weeks at best.   Is Griffen likely Ruck Coverage?

I wouldn't, have faith that Stef will be fine for next week. He didn't go to hospital which means it can't have been too serious, just more precautionary keeping him off after such a heavy hit.

Understand; I was looking for a bodacious move that improves my team, points and rookie management.  Definite downside risk.  I keep looking for reasons to move on Barlow.    Still holding the line atm.   Also disagree Griffin is unproven.  Can definitely average 90 as sole ruck.   Though taking on Goldy first up it is probably not the best situation to trade him in.

I was actually looking at this earlier today for other reasons. I figured I'd have a look and see who the in from ruck forwards are and look at getting one in soon for coverage purposes. Tippett or Lycett are the two that stand out, but Lycett is about to get suspended so no use there

Was looking at this as well and seriously considering Blicavs who is still averaging well as mid only and moving him back to mids to be M8.

Signs are good but the club will take the necessary precautions as we have lost 3 player to concussion in recent times (Brown and Maguire retired early due to it and this year Clarke called a very premature halt to his career.)

I personally can't see him missing next week.

Good to hear he was up and about after the game, fingers crossed he passes the tests during the week.

This might be his first incident? Could play in his favour if he hasn't had concussion issues in the past.
