Note to self-(open March 2017)- NO MORE MID PRICERS!!!!!'
BOOKMARK THIS
Except bookmarked for January. DeGoey, Lonergan fail. At least fallen prems of Wells and Libba making up.

Speculator

Im finished with this bloke. Stupid selection. In hindsight very unlikely to become a premo. Kicking myself.

Lonergan to Simpson...Papley to Ruggles...happy days
cancel this

double downgrade now...both the Byrne's..

Ringo

Has to go with a B/E of 75 just need to decide whether to double downgrade or upgrade.  Papley to Byrne Jones alreday done but not a real lot of upgrade options up to $475k that I like.

change my vote to gone if stef gets up! ruggles or byrne to come in! think byrne might have the better js!

only 2 options i'd consider in that price range..maybe 3..Biggs, KK and perhaps Savage for something different

Really think people are jumping off him too early.

If you started the season with him, you needed some pretty good reasoning since he was a mid pricer.  I don't believe he's shown enough to say he still can't live up to a 90 average.

I got rid of him last week for Weitering......

collected $50,000 change and made another $44,000 on the weekend.

He still has a BE of -6

Lonergan is an interesting one when considering to get rid or of hold.

So far he has been having career best numbers in most categories and is running at a good disposal efficiency. The biggest issue he has is he hasn't been involved a huge amount in the attacking play and scores for GC, so far only 2 goal assists in 4 games.

If you picked him you picked him as a mid pricer with hopes he could turn into a premium, if that doesn't happen he is good as a stepping stone as he is unlikely to drop and stay below his starting price.
What people need to realise is he has only played 34 AFL games and most not through the midfield. He will get better as the years goes on.

Last year I was a big advocate for holding Newnes after his first 5 games (in which he was averaging 73) and he went on to average 90 for the year. I get the feeling this is going to be the same situation this year.

After thinking about it a little more, might give him another week. I really want Shaw when he bottoms out (or gets close enough to it), and I can probably trade Papley and someone else this week to Byrne-and-Bryne, and then if Lonergan can at least hold his value, will have the cash to get Shaw when I'm ready.
