Yep Blues are losing because of the umpires. Graham can't average 100 in SC if the blues are going to get crucified by the umps like this.

Haha.
Get lost pig-headed flog.

Jukes is on the money,

Blues are really getting flowered by the umps (5 frees to 23!!), but safe to say that even with neutral/fair umps they'd still be a fair way back.
as a neutral watcher (except for JJ, Hunter, Adams in various teams) fTColl i didn't see too many howlers from the umps ... the interpretation hasn't changed, get 'em below the armpits and you're sweet, get 'em and your arms go to their head/neck it's your problem ...

ducks into the tackle are being paid against the person ducking in so i don't see a problem ...

Boy JJ must be Champion Datas new love child. How did his score continue to rise so much after he got injured and didn't take any further part in the game....

I haven't read it but I understand the 3300 points or whatever it is and the scaling and yarda yarda. I would have thought though that once you leave the field permanently your influence on the game stops so your score should remain the same by default. Just scale everyone else who continues to contribute to the game around them, makes sense to me anyway.

As the game went on, you can see that the game was up for grabs at the very start and after that Blues weren't really in it. So all stats in the first half or so would get a higher scaling than those later on. Hence JJs score.

We're desperate for a CHF in this team. Unfortunately the one we drafted is injured. We're breaking down getting out of defense and going inside 50. When we do get a grab the forwards miss. It doesn't help our other two marking options in Everitt and Walker are also injured.

We were pretty pathetic in that 2nd quarter. We did finish the game strong though so that's a credit to them. This team last year under Malthouse would have let it blowout to 80 points. Plowman played pretty well considering. He had a really good last quarter, didn't panic under pressure and combined well with Weits. Sumner and Lamb both showed a bit as well which is good.

Levi will be in the twos this week. Liam Jones kicked 5 in the VFL and Jaksch 3. As much as I dislike Jones he has probably earnt a spot so give it to him. Both should come in and we can see what we have.

In regards to the frees, I  didn't realise they were even that lopsided until someone at the game started screaming about them being 16-3. There was maybe one really bad one, a couple of soft ones but the rest were just stupid and undisciplined by us. We were getting lead to the ball first and giving away stupid frees. Simple as that
