Don't really know anything about this kid, but has posted some decent scores,101,94  and with not much mid rookies in the coming weeks, is he a potential cash generator...Maybe a sideways to mills as they are around same value and this bloke due to increase a bit over coming weeks

Have noticed a few people bringing him in..... Does he have good JS

dale93

I was looking at him myself.

Being a port man I dint like his JS at all. With Hammer and Wings expected back this week I still think he will survive but he is next to go out once another big name comes back. He's always been in and out the team. I would expect him to play about 10-12 games for the year.

He's a decent players but not good JS. If it was a 25 man team he would be in. But I feel he could play the next few games so not bad for a few $$ increase.

Is scoring well because he has kicked 3 and 4 goals

Can't see him keeping that up, coupled with his questionable JS

I prefer Parish around the same price. Better job security.

I'm considering this guy as a downgrade to crouch as he is averaging 90 over his last two games and has a breakeven even of -46

Or should I go with Parish, Kennedy or young?

Thanks guys!

There's already a thread about him

This really helps! Thinking Parish, Kennedy or Oliver are all safer options.

So, I'm definitely not an expert on Ports best line-up but with Hartlett and Wingard back in this week, would it just be Schulz still to come in who could (possibly) affect Youngs JS?  Obviously Carlisle still needs to come back in, but he shouldn't make much difference, and Young would have to be on a par with Toumpas, Ah Chee, and Amon.

I wouldn't be surprised if Kennedy and Oliver get rested for Melbourne, particularly when Petracca and Neal-Bullen get added to the midfield/small forward rotations.  Parish looks the goods but is still very lightly framed and I'd be surprised if he plays 20+ games for the season.

I really dont want to have Crouch sitting on the bench for 2-3 weeks (if it does end up that) as Young can a) make money while Crouch isn't playing, and b) be a genuine option to play on the field instead of a Menadue/Davis.  If he does drop back to average scoring he should still make 100-150k and be upgraded to a fallen premium.

Thoughts?

That was my reasoning when I dragged him in this morn. Burns a trade but should make a bit of cash before petracca saunters along.

I traded out Aaron young at 320k a few weeks back, now he is priced at 410k and has averaged 105 in his last 3 games, WOW  :'(
