Should I go with Hartley on the bubble or hope that Ruggles can seal his spot? Both have looked decent

Need a replacement for Trent Mackenzie.. Thought I was being clever and going with a POD to start the year  ::)
He was ok in round 1, poor in round 2 then had his nose rearranged in round 3 for a score of 4 and 2 weeks on the sidelines.

Downgrading to one of these rookies means that I can get a premium in for Crouch in the mids

If Hartley keeps his spot this week, then I'd probably go with him

Choosing between these two blokes for B. Crouch, if I go Hartley it will be this week, if I go Ruggles - the next. Unsure.

Woosha was quoted earlier in the week sayIng Grima will come in and it's unfortunate that Hartley has been playing well too. So kinda implying Grima in for Hartley. It's on dons Twitter if you want to look it up or else I think I saw it on the Doctor SuperCoach FB page as well

ivolve

Both had solid NAB. Rugs Avg 62.5 Hartley Avg 78.3.
Ruggles is built for the game and has been in my team since round 1, However, I think the Bombers will continually rotate their younger players and I think Hartley will get more games through out the year, floating in and out until his price peaks.
IMHO Rugs the better player, Hartley gets more games.
Both worth the downgrade if it means getting in a premium.
Cheers

Hartley has been solid but we need the size down back to come in against Tomahawk. Either Brown or Hartley will likely make way for Grima.

I like what I saw from Ruggles. With Thurlow injured and out for the season there is a void there in the cats side that needs to be filled and Ruggles took the opportunity with both hands last weekend. I think he is the better pick.

Surely Hartley won't get dropped, his been playing pretty well. If Hartley is named, pick him & give Ruggles another week to analyse how he goes.

kilbluff1985

i think Brown will be the one dropped if anyone

Holz

Unless hartley grima named together im going ruggles this week. I need the cash to turn 2 mid pricers into a premo rookie

I would have thought brown by people saying hartley will be gone.

I'm thinking of getting both!

Crouch to Hartley
Harwood to Ruggles

Anyone see the Brisbane game on the weekend? Saw Harwood got 21 touches for only ~60 points. Any positive signs that would make you keep him?!

Ringo

Harwood - 3 clangers would not have helped his score.  His D/e is up a little but 0 tackles is a concern as well.  Improvement on previous weeks but not enough to instill confidence.
He is blkeeding cash and B/e is 62 which was his last weeks score so decision is yours.

Votes in Ruggles favour but that is making this decision no easier for me.

Harleys issue is the return of Grima but Ruggles issue is playing at Geelong where any loss or slightly poor game could see him dropped. Will wait and see what teams are named tommorow and then I'll no doubt pick the wrong one regardless :)

Surely the dons will be keen to get games into decent players on their primary list instead of top-ups like Grima?
