Ok. 0-3. With North this week. With No Sandi. and most likely no Mundy

Yeh we'll struggle...

But, we have to keep battling along. Many will suggest Ross just starts playing all the kids. But there is absolutely no need to play them for the sake of it, especially if they aren't ready. Weller, Langdon, APearce, Sheridan all under 50 games is enough youngsters to have in on any weekend.

In saying that i'd expect Tucker to get a crack soon.

Ross made some obvious changes to structure and game style on the weekend so that was a positive. The loss of Sandi killed us, but at least we were competitive again.

So while the start to the season has been disastrous, it'll be very tight at the bottom of the 8 this year so we need to scrape together as many wins as we can over the next block of games while we sort our shower out

Griff and Hannath most likely comes in. Don't think Clarke will be ready with his knee

valkorum

Griffin definitely comes in - not sure if we bring another one in.

After seeing de Boer in the ruck on the weekend surely we have to. It literally cost us the game

Either Tabs comes in and gives Griff a chop out, or Hannath does imo

Crozier had a blinder for Peel so he's put his hand up

Ric , while I do not see the need to over run the side with new comers,it is time we started to weed out some of those who are not going to take us forward. We need to see whether our recruiting is as good as they say it is.
Yes Weller, Landgon Pearce and Sheridan are all relatively new to the side, we have to find out if there are others who can take the step as well.I don't consider Sheridan as a new comer this year.He has had a crack last year and has experience.
Our back line needs to be built up. In my opinion we need more big bodies and some strength. I have said it before, we recruited Sam Collins for the role that was Luke McPharlins, we need to see if he can fill the role.
Most of the big forwards we have recruited are out injured so we just have to wait and see whether we have a new shining light up front.

Yeh I agree mate, Mzungu and co shouldn't be there. But it's a fine line. Sheridan has cemented his spot in the side but he's still <50 games. Throwing more kids around him, Neale, Pearce, Weller, Langdon and co means you expect that group to step up and may just be too much.

I'd like to see Collins soon also mate. Do you know how he went on the weekend?

I'm starting to think Sam Collins is actually anchorman under-cover, pressing his claims for a recall on all AFL forums.

Sam Collins, like Jacob Ballard, has become my favoured recruit.Hopefully he doesn't go the same way as Ballard, only play one game before being de-listed.
Reading the reviews from the Freo site he played well, once again.Again took from memory, another eight marks. And he had a fair bit of the ball by the sound of it.
With the Roos having so many tall, maybe this week we will see him being in the side.Their talls will present us with problems I think.
Will be there to cheer them on this week.Looking forward to it.Love watching footy in Melbourne.
