I had him as a smoky in my preseaons but didnt pick him up.

Matt Wright always has had the ability to score he just has had changing roles, vests and not a lock in the 22 stopping him.

The man has started the year 88 87 103 against good opsition in richmond, sydney and GC.

averaged 89 in his second season.

80 in 2014 (might have had vests)

priced at 340k is anyone looking?

Actually think he is a shot at going 90.

Holz

For the record im thinking something quite drastic.

Menadue to Hartley then Mills to Wright.

Mills just hasnt shown he can score and im not sure he can with soo many stars. A slow burn at a 70 average. Wright I can actually see becoming that m9 f7 or possibly f6.

I was watching Wright pre season too, is flying under the radar, but not sure if he can sustain those scores...good price though.

its it a mid pricer which i never trade in (and i usally trade out early)

but his 89 in his second year is just soo apealing, been wiating for ever for him to come good. legit is a shot at going 90+ and being one of the best picks of the year.

I have resisted hard from saying he will outscore Aaron Hall from this round onwards.

He will 99% not outscore Aaron Hall, he has let DT'ers down in the past, he is a Carlton player...that last one alone has scared me away to be honest.  Think if you didn't start him, you can't bring him in now.

Might have been a decent stepping stone to start with, but I wouldn't be using a trade on getting him in now

This was the first year I ever started mid pricers, and I am really regretting it.

Libba and Wells were musts because they had the history - but all the rest have been nothing, and showered up my team and structure so I'll be getting them out as quick as I can, not bringing any in

eaglesman

Hahaha I was going to message you and suggest this fella today

He is not even a lock for our 22, I wouldn't be trading him in.

On what I saw at the game on Saturday night they would be 50/50 against Essendon in 2 weeks.

Apart from rookies it is a massive risk to pick Carlton players and I wouldn't be considering a mid pricer who probably has a bit to prove to show he is in the best 22.

wright is definately in our best 22! way ahead of a lot of our players in my opinion! as for getting in another mid pricer no thanx! got too many underperforming at the moment!

nope are sitting 0-3.

Wright  has performed in all 3 games in a team with a percentage of 60%. Dont see them getting much worse.

why? they have had a above average difficulty draw to start.

Kreuzer needs to stay healthy and if he does that will be big. Guys like cripps and docherty should only get better. Murphy didnt have a great preseason and should keep getting better, same for Dale Thomas.

We still have Everitt, Walker and maybe Lamb to come back in. We're also in a position where we want to blood a bunch of kids so I am expecting guys like Cuningham to come in over the next few weeks, especially when he was showing strong form in the VFL practice games. Plowman is getting some match fitness into him so while not a like for like, he will get some games in the next couple. White, Tutt and Dick had a strong game on the weekend, Viojo-Rainbow has also been playing a half forward role from what I gather and had 24 touches and a goal in the VFL. Wright was recruited as a stop gap senior body, he was our 20th-22nd player with Lamb and White in round 1. He has played well but he 100% isn't a lock.

We're going to beat Essendon, I can guarantee it. We've been in every game early but have run out of legs. Gold Coast and the Swans are both undefeated and are looking like finals sides.

In terms of fantasy picks, Simmo and Docherty are the other two that should be looked at. I prefer Simmo to Doc but both will be decent picks.
