But Essendon are a really poor side this year and at some stage he IMO will drop off which is why I am not considering Zaha

I am looking at Scully. 3 tons to start the year and gets plenty of the ball. The new interchange rules definitely suiting him as well.

I wasn't going to make any trades this week, however I can trade Sam Gray to any forward or midfielder.  Who should I go out of the following:

a) Spend top dollar (Steven, Montagna, Sitchell, Danger, Lewis)
b) Discounted premo (Priddis, Parker, Gray, Fyfe)
c) On the up (Zerrett, Kelly, Scully, Duncan)
d) Keep Gray

At the moment I am leaning towards Montagna or Steven.  I am ranked 318 overall, don't need to make a move, but would like my rank to keep rising at this stage and want to aggressively complete my team.

Gotta be aggressive. Spend the coin on a proven premo or Parker who is great value at the moment.

Well with Crouch out long term I am trying to decide if I bounce him this week or next week. Hartley or Ruggles look to be the options. I'm not keen to go early on guys considering how badly I got burnt by Doc a few years back.

Thanks bud, good advice, I think you're just above me in DT and AF so I'll take your advice! ;)

So I need a rookie for my backline, but I can't decide out of these three? Which will have good job security?

Ciaran Byrne
Michael Hartley
Tom Ruggles

It seems Hartley has good job security, but the scoring doesn't seem to be up to the other 2.   :-\

McCarthy -> Ruggles
Mills -> Scully

haha, I'm asking myself that question myself this week

Byrne should have some decent JS, because Carlton need to play them (who's injured for them?)
Hartley's got good JS, but scoring is an issue - and I'm personally loaded on rd14 players (and Essendon are kinda meh for me)
does Ruggles have any long term JS? Enright out with resting is a big one for me - does he come in for Ruggles next week?

edit: I think I've answered my own question really

so with that
Hewett->Byrne (via DPP)
and then Macaffer->E Langdon/Daisy/Acres

Enright played last week with Ruggles.  Ruggles is the best scorer out of those guys and I'm confident he plays till the wheels fall off.

but is that because Lonergan missed?
Enright comes back next week, but is it at the expense of Ruggles?

the Geelong back 6 for me: Taylor, Lonergan, Enright, Mackie, Henderson, Bartel
I'm seeing no Ruggles in that 6, unless the idea is to move Bartel to the forward half?
although I do see the necessity to blood through the youngsters, given that Geelong aren't really contending (and 5 of them will most likely have retired in a couple of years)

Still 4 spots on the bench, Gregson and Murdoch will be dropped before Ruggles I would think.

Went Harwood > Hartley and B. Crouch > Rosa.

nas

Went Hewett > Hartley & Mills > Hall

TomK

Milera - Hartley this week, had to hold Crouch this week due to no good options but next week will go M.Brown - Ruggles and then should have around 530k to get someone for Brad

Rusty00

Went Crouch to Hall and saved my other trade. Wanted another week to look at the Mid Premos and aim to go Harwood to Ruggles, Miils to Premo next week.
