Really started to get flowered off with this guy, hasn't hit the ton yet.

What on Earth do I do with him?  :-\

Is going to keep leaking cash and isn't scoring good enough for his price so I feel like he has to go.

I have Heath Shaw and Laird as my other premos and also have Adams, Weitering, Dea. Also have Tippa and Brown on the bench.

Do I downgrade Boyd > Hartley, play Tippa then use the cash to go B.Crouch > Priddis?

Or do I swap Boyd for another premo defender? If so which one would be the best one for me to get?

Might be worth cutting your losses, looks like father time has caught up with him and I suspect he'll be rested from time to time. Not sure I would downgrade to Hartley, I think switching to another premo would be better.

I'd hold for now. He hasn't tonned up, but he still hasn't scored badly.

Still finding plenty of the footy, just hasn't put the SC points on the board yet.

If Bob misses a large amount of time he'll be the leader of that backline too.

Houli and Rance are tempting me as a Boyd replacement.

The other part of me though says give Boyd one more chance now that Murphy will be out for a while.

I traded him down to E.MacKenzie for some extra cash generation. Allowed me to upgrade Gresham (who looks like a slow burner) to Zaharakis.

3 games in and you're gonna rage trade him out already? C'mon, you got to back your premiums. What happens if you sideways Boyd to Rance/Houli and they start doing shower? Going to trade them out as well?

I've pulled the trigger on him aswell, he might have just started off slowly, but being a premium he should be hitting the scores that we expect him to.

I didn't rage trade him, i'm just simply tweaking my team so i don't have a Brodie Smith of 2015 situation.

Also, last year doggies didn't have Biggs, Adams and Johannison weren't really there at all so he had more of the ball, even with Bob gone i think most of the rebounding from defensive 50 will come from those 3 players. Boyd will still average around 80 this year. He's not getting any younger.

I've given Boyd a week longer than I wanted to.

Was going to get rid of him last week if it wasn't for other issues.

Last 2 weeks he's been scoring in the 70's which just isn't good enough for someone who was $560,000.

Houli seems like a better option to me at this stage.

Murphy out must help him.
It's obvious he isn't going to back up 103+ this season but 90-95 is still better than wasting a trade.
Don't chase Houli's big scores Houli goes big a few times every year and u have already missed 144/127.
In saying that Houli and Rance will both be top defenders again with Laird and Shaw & hopefully Docherty  ;)
I have 3 of these and i am aiming for the other 2 and will look at Matty if he gets cheap enough, considering possible games missed ect.

surely boyd will do the run through role that murphy was playing.  be suprised if we dont see a 10-15 pt rise in his scores.

Now with both Bob and Johanissen gone, can the dogs afford to not let Boyd travel? Surely he plays all 22.
