How is Freo losing to Carlton not a massive call!
TC is a Blues supporter Dave, what do you expect?  ;)

That much is true, if it really is a dud call on my part, I am more than happy to upgrade the call to a 'Very Big Call' and award an additional point. Is that the general consensus?
Tbh I'd be calling it a bigger call than Mills beating Priddis, but that's just me

Does anyone have what the odds were pregame? Based on how shower Freo looked, I'd have thought it possible (not probable) but it could just be that I don't trust any team to win games they should based on my years as a Richmond fan... I'd have given it Very Big, fwiw.

RaisyDaisy

Not certain, but I think $1.16 vs $5.50

HappyDEZ

Def worth at least 2 points imo. The Carlton win that is.

fanTCfool

Given how bad Freo had looked, both teams at 0-4, I won't be awarding full (3) points, but am happy to award 2 upon review.
Freo were minor premiers last year after all.
Apologies for the initial Blues bias  :-[

Sounds about right. I'd say $5.50 is bordering on Very Big. But that depends on what we call Big... Would $2.50 be big? $3? $4?

So the obvious downfall of this game is the scoring system.
I am more than happy to accept any suggestions as to how it could be ammended and improved, which will be difficult as this game has no set values as to what defines big, very big and massive.
I suppose, things could be categorised (eg. Match Tipping, Game Statistics, SuperCoach etc.) but it does not solve all problems.
Please let me know what you're thinking of the game so far (not just the scoring) and any early feedback that could be of use!  ;D

I like everything about it because I'm winning. When I'm eventually no longer winning, I hate it.

But, seriously, I think we should have a hard cap of prior to the first game or something so that you can rank calls BEFORE the result and avoid any controversy. Or just rank them as they go. I think trying to give something a ranking after the fact will bring in bias and arguments. Just my two cents.

That was the original plan prior to the introduction of the rolling lockout, which was intended to increase the number of participants.
Perhaps, as numbers steady, the rolling lockout can be phased out to a standard Friday Night lockout and the above can take place.

In the scandal of the century Richmond name Todd Elton but actually send out Rance in a 43 shirt. :o

If this happens you can just win the game.

For Round 6:

Luke Parker scores 160+ SC points against Brisbane.

With so many 1st choice players out, Freeo gets up and beats Adelaide.

The final scoring shot of the match decides one of the first 2 games.
Taylor Walker kicks 4 first half goals but ends the day iced up on the bench.
Sauce Merrett gets cited for an incident involving Kurt Tippett.
JJK goes on the rampage against the Pies. 8+ goals.
GWS by 30+

Hey Mate,
Very pleased to have you on board for this game, but I cannot accept the statement in bold as BOG is a matter of opinion.
Feel free to adjust it, perhaps say he leads SC points or even receives the 'star' on FanFooty.
