I'm not trying to be a knob Jukes but it's kind of a pet hate of mine and i'm guessing for a few interstate club supporters
but you should only be counting AFL premierships not VFL premierships. Not sure that many Vic's will agree with me but that's how it should be I reckon. It's the Australian Football League now it's no longer the Victorian Football League.
As I said not trying to be a knob about it (although I do manage well sometimes) but i'd be interested to gauge peoples opinions
on it and how they feel. The way I see it is every cup with VFL stamped on it doesn't count.

So we should throw out all of our other premiership cups because they're irrelevant? I don't see any asterisks on our cups because non-vic fans say they're not good.

Basically y'all are saying the careers of guys like Reynolds, Coleman, Whitten, Matthews, Barrassi, etc are irrelevant because they didn't play in the AFL. Throw them out of the hall of fame because they played in an irrelevant era?

If you're going that way, I guess you could say that only the most recent premiership cup is valuable at all because you're the reigning champs - all the others are just worth their weight in silver.

Never once said throw them out or that they are irrelevant, wasn't suggesting that at all. All i'm saying is the majority are VFL premierships not AFL premierships which is the comp now. VFL was the domestic comp, AFL is the national comp. You can keep your cups but they mean shower in a national competition but mean everything from the old domestic comp. There's a big difference.
