I need to get rid of barlow. I cant afford to keep carrying him and loose money.

Which one would you go for? Or is there any other options worth looking at?

By the way I already have hall, dusty and wells. Only have 10k cash.

Merrett out of those 2 for me.. But I would lean towards keeping Barlow

fabiang

How will he score though? He hardly gets midfield minutes.

Samsturmfels

wtf, how is this even a thread

pick Gray  ::)

Jimmykidd

i have gray and he was pretty disappointing last game. and only got 99 from 37 disposals in round 1. id be going merrett.

ill be bringing in dusty myself.

kilbluff1985

so u going to trade out every keeper that has a couple bad weeks and might lose a bit of cash?

fabiang

No, but would you call barlow a keeper?

yes

needs more then 2 games to prove he isn't worth a spot in the forward line after basically 4 years with at least 95+avg

Barlow gets 1 more week for me otherwise I'd be bringing in Merrett.  Wouldn't touch Gray in SC, but good for AF and DT.

When you say you can't afford to keep carrying him and lose money, consider that even if he scores another ~60, he's only going to drop 50k. He's not bleeding out just yet. And his price change isn't relevant unless you go on to trade him, it's like saying "I'm gonna gain 50k on Hall this week" - you only actually get that cash if you end up trading him out at a higher value. Similarly, Barlow only loses you money if you later trade him out for less. I admit, him being played in the forwards is worrying and could continue to affect his scoring, and I might jump off him for Hall. But Hall and Dusty are probably the only two I would be looking at trading to this week, and you already have both. If he gets moved back to the midfield, everyone will be scrambling to get him back in. so he could end up costing 2 trades, one out and one back in again.

I tend to agree with KB,

... Just need him to play through the middle again!

Good point, thanks for your advice mate :)

So I have Sam Gray and was mighty disappointed in him last week.

Should I ditch him next week for Dustin Martin if he spuds up again this week?  :-\

Just be careful chasing last weeks points.  You trade to improve team and not ideal to trade straight out after one game.
