Round 2 Trades

Is it bad to only use 1 trade?  Rocky to Sam Mitchell is my trade, keeping Barlow, don't have anyone else I want to trade out?  Just feels so wrong having a trade sitting there to disappear into trade oblivion! :P

Any cash to be made anywhere? jump on some of the firing rookies? Tha'ts what I would be trying to do if I were in your position

All my rooks are playing and have -ve BE's.  Hoping Ruggles gets named and then I'll cash out my highest priced rookie I think.

Ruggles or Hartley?  Hartley I think is locked barring injury, Ruggles will be fringe unless he can string together some good games, reckon he was elevated cos Duncan can't go this week.  Hartley is still an option, I'll prob trade out someone like Mitch McGovern or Clay Cameron for them, lower JS than my other rookies and makes me 10-30K.

Was going Harwood to Hartley personally for my side, but you mentioning Ruggles just got me thinking. Looking at the players that need to come back in for Geelong there is probably more upside to taking Hartley.

Think I'm changing my plans to go Rocky to Pendles and Barlow to Zerrett, I think both will be in the top 10 of their respective positions and feel like the quicker I can complete my team the better.

Don't you think sideways trading Barlow is detrimental to completing your team? I feel like he could still come good (if he isn't dropped) so I've reversed my initial trade of getting rid of him and I'm going to downgrade Harwood in order to upgrade a rookie to a premo next week.

Don't you think sideways trading Barlow is detrimental to completing your team? I feel like he could still come good (if he isn't dropped) so I've reversed my initial trade of getting rid of him and I'm going to downgrade Harwood in order to upgrade a rookie to a premo next week.

That was my initial though, but I feel I don't want him anyway with his up and down scoring, Ross has no clue what he's doing, Bennell out for longer too.  Rather someone who's making money and scoring well to keep my ranking up, than someone bleeding cash and scoring less than my rookies.  I'm keeping him in all my limited trades to give him one more week, but I'm ranked top 1500 and from personal experience you've got to be aggressive to keep moving up the rankings.

Yeah I'd be cautious of Pendles as well at the moment. Particularly in AF/DT scoring as there are more similar premo options in this scoring format.

Originally was getting Robbie Gray in, but who else is better than Pendles?  Treloar, Parker, Prestia, Priddis, Dusty, Ward, Fyfe, Ellis, Liberatore are prob the only guys I'd consider...out of that Priddis looks safest.

Flipped the script...only used 1 trade so far but have replaced Rocky with Jack Steven.  Leaves me with a trade to see what happens with teams tonight, may move Barlow or may see if a new rookie pops his hand up for a quick cash grab.
