I've still got 28 trades left.... I'm going to burn him because I can. Burn the trades. Burn Barlow! Burn! Burn!
3 games and the best score I got out of was an improved 99. Hope his disposal count and efficiency works out for the keepers but I'm determined that my season won't get any worse by keeping him. Mundy will be back, Lyon will stay his coach till he jumps ship but that won't be soon enough (tongue in cheek) and others simply look better picks to me.
Sit still and stagnate peeps or move on and thrive post Barlow I'm thinking.
The only reason I'll be stuck with him is if there is an unexpected non selection or injury to my team between now and the weekend.

I think we need to settle down.

1. He has one of the best histories if not the best history of premium if given the right role
2. He will have every opportunity to prove himself with mundy out
3. Freo and him have clearly not worked with the structure they had round 1 and 2.
4. He has a break even of 121 he is more then capable of getting that.

Could upgrade Barlow to Gray, Priddis, Parker, Zorko etc. Very tempted given the slow start to the year, the big issues for me are Sandi being sidelined and Mundy returning, granted there are a few weeks of respite but the odds of Barlow being a top 6 mid are virtually zero in my opinion. Will mull over this one over the next 24 hours.

Go ahead and trade Barlow if he is the only worry you have but when he starts pumping out 110's do not say you were not warned.  Not sure whether he can or not but for me like RD I have more pressing problems than Barlow and 80+ for a F3 is lot better than the 60s I am getting from my D3 and D4.

I am hoping barlow maintains say a 95 average to byes and then should be a nice upgrade then.

If somebody lent me 100K.      Doing Rocky to SMitch last week won me some leagues but cost me cash for a decent Barlow trade.   More likely to miss BE and go down more making trades harder.   Needs 3 games over 100 to get back to 500K.    If he managed that then it would most likely be playing as a mid.   On tooserious you can see the decline in all stats with an increase in TOG.   As a quality player I could hang in with him provided he got guaranteed mid time for rest of season.   With Ross the Boss "I plan to stuff up as many SC teams as possible" Lyon this is highly unlikely.      More reason for trading him. 


Based on history with NM and Etihad is best case likely to get 100-105.  Good record against NM not so good at Etihad.   Has a good record following week at Domain and Adelaide.    With Mundy still out he might get a couple of games in the mids and make 100 per week.   If Sloan stays under 100 he will be down to 500 and I can trade at same time as doing a downgrade,    Lots of ifs in it though.     Putting in Zaha means having him at M8/M9 for EOS.   Possibility though would much prefer Sloan who is yet to fire.
