I am holding onto him.

Freo have been terrible in their 1st 2 weeks. Surely they cannot get any worse. Big game next week v West Coast and surely they will come out angry and hungry. I just think it is too early to trade out an uninjured premo.

As Mat said it is too reactionary to trade him. But I am having a decent week compared to most so I am not as concerned about my team as a whole.

Barlow to Papley locked
probably this and will consider rich, gresham, rocky needs as well.    Bottom line Barlow cant score what is needed as a forward.

Think I will sit for a while and just look at what B/e are before finally deciding. Has Barlow been pushed forawrd because Bennel is out and will return to mids when he comes back?

Barlow will probably get dropped for Bennell I reckon.  :o

too much doubt on his role. he has to go. he will hemorrhage cash too. cut your loses and get him ouutt.

also bringing in a rookie for him is suicide. IMO.

sammy123

either trading to hill/merrett

He just look out of place
Whatever the role he is meant to be (SC not withstanding) he just does not lokk comforatble ... and  sooooo sssllloowww
I have Hall, Buddy and Barlow as my set and  forget
Menadue, McCarthy, Wells, McD-T and McGovern (Adel) have all done above my expectations
Need another prem - or at least  someone who is going to be consistent 80+
Mid-pricer maybe and bank some cash - not another rook!
But who?

Not if you go a pior oerforming rookie to a premium on another line at the same time.

Im in the good position of having started all the right fwd rookies so will sideways trade him. Greene performed so he stays. If rocky is out will be rocky and Barlow to another 2 premiums.

Grufflez

Freo is flowered, that's why i am trading him, premiership tilt is over, they will be fighting for a spot in the lower top 8.
Ross Lyon lies and Barlow is getting played forward again, i am getting off of this roundabout, gl to those who hold him.

batt

Yep, if you're trading him, you're trading him on the basis you don't think Freo can turn things around.

Freo are all over the shop at the moment, things are very volatile.  Barlow's forward role certainly isn't cemented, nor is his spot in the team.

If he's named, I'll keep him.  That's a big enough vote of confidence from Ross on a bloke that is playing like a steaming pile of bad stuff.

quinny88

I just don't get why they even play him forward? He's sh1thouse in the forward line!

Gigantor

Normally I would follow the old "don't sideways trade premos" rule but with guys like, Kerridge, Bennedy, Wells, Adams and Libba scoring like premos I'm happy to break it this year.

In comes Hall!

Mat0369

I don't mind a straight swap into Laird or Simmo if you're going to dump him using the DPP

poolboybob

I'm dumping him for Papley. My other forwards are either playing well or have a lot of money to be made, so Barlow is the one who has to go. Papley will rise too much in price for me not to grab him this week.
