Ross has said there will be changes structurally next week. We were too offensive in the middle and got smashed the other way.
What they've tried isn't working, we've basically lost all defence and teams have too much freedom. He has to change it

Whether the change will help Barlow or not, i have no idea. But him not attending centre bounces is concerning

So if Barlow was to get dropped can someone help me out here and tell me who would come in for him??

Mzungu or Crozier.

but Bennell won't be too far away

I honestly can not see who would come in for barlow. Lyon rarely plays the kids however that could change with 2 bad losses. I think I will hold barlow. Don't want to waste a trade if he comes good.

Not true.

Sheridan, Sutcliffe, Neale, Alex Pearce all played half a season in only their second years and Weller easily will do that his year

Surely Ross wouldn't drop Barlow? Trying to play him as a forward is like trying to play Balantine as a ruck then dropping him for not performing. Get the man in the midfield Ross!
I'm holding onto him, if he bleeds more cash then so be it

I agree, holding onto him, he has to come good at some point and id suggest that Lyon will have to change things up and whack Barlow back in the guts given his skill set.
Im also holding onto Rocky, he is prob spending more time forward at the moment given he did no pre season. People will regret burning these trades..

Exactly right. Even playing this role last year he still averaged in the 90s so it's not completely terrible. Freo have just played 2 really poor games and I expect the team and Barlow to bounce back.

Not so confident on rocky. Apparently doubtful to play this week and calf injuries ALWAYS drag on

Yeah its certain a worry, I might swap Rocky for Danger to Tom Mitchell. Mitchell looks a good option as Horse seems to be using him as their prime extractor. he's in no danger of being tagged either. Absolute ball hog!

Ringo

The other stat I read for Barlow and this is why I think he will bounce back is his DE over the 2 rounds is 44% very unBarlow like.  Just need to decide whether to hold and save a trade or not.

I keep changing my mind because I just don't know what to do, but I think I will keep him and get rid of the injured Rocky instead

Barlow has averaged 90+ for years, so we just need Ross to stop playing him in stupid positions and he can turn it around

Argh! I dunno, whatever!

Not alone there RD giving us a few headaches Barlow or Rocky.  The one consolation is that when Rocky comes back he has a B/e of 184 so will drop some cash so may be able to get back in when he bottoms out.

Get rid of both? Thats my plan. Parker and Houli in via dpp.

Not making a call on Rocky until injury report, and will even take that with a grain of salt as the guy is a pretty tough nut - returned much earlier than expected from injuries last year! Though if he is out that means I have Robbo and Rocky riding the pine which isn't nice.

BUT, one thing I will say is that Rocky is at least playing in the role where we know he can score points, he's just had a bad couple of games (really just this week, 90 on the back of a lack of pre-season I was fine with!). He can bounce back. I'm less convinced with Barlow, purely because of where he's being played... He's a gun through the middle, but playing higher is killing his scores. Agree with Ringo that the DE is something he can definitely do better, but I'm concerned that if he doesn't get back in the middle then we've been sold a lemon. I'm tempted to hold but also don't have Hall...
