i dont think hell be dropped. you cant play a guy out of position and then drop him when he isnt delivering.

I'm still in two minds about him. He played in the middle in the NAB and looked so promising to get back to his 100+ avg days but now Ross has just put him back on a flank where he even said was the wrong move.

I want to trade him because his role is just not good for his game and he will be losing money, but I want to keep him because surely Ross realises it was the wrong move to sit him on a flank and puts him back in the middle where we know he can score well, but if I do keep him and Ross continues to play him out of position he will continue to lose money and I'll be behind the pack, but if I do trade him and Ross puts him the middle, it will be a shocking trade and something I'll regret.

So many if's and but's, I don't know what to do with him.

He has the runs on the board, and Ross has acknowledged they need to change their approach

Worst case scenario he drops 40k and I miss out on 50 points over someone, but best case he returns into a prem, I save a trade and have a pretty good POD.

That being said, when I saw the footage of the players leaving the room after their post match talk with Lyon I did see him hobbling out. Not sure if it's anything, or if he was just buggered but it did look a little concerning

Don't waste a trade on a premo unless he will miss 3 or more weeks Is my philosophy. They can't drop barlow as they have played him out of position. so that wouldn't be very fair!

Of course they can drop Barlow even though he is not playing in his best position.   If Freo stay committed to a new game structure that Barlow does not suit then he will end up gone.    Question is will Freo persevere under pressure from fans and media.     Plenty of us on ff agree RL defensive approach will not win them a flag.

Yeah, I am now having second thoughts re trading out Rocky this week, with him out injured he wont bleed cash.

Barlow disposal is really shower.  I would hate to be under his passes.

His disposal has never really been elite, he's scored well through shear weight of possessions and needs to be around the ball to do that. Think i'll just put my team to the back of my mind till teams are released, to hard to deal with until I know if he's still in or dropped. I got other issues with Rocky and Gresham also so until I know whats what, flower it for now.

It's always been pretty average. As long as he gets back in the mids he will be fine. We just need to wait and see how that pans out
