Each year we have had a number of awards that we have run through out the year and just wondering which ones you would like to continue as it will require some off site work with a lot of the data staying within UF.

These obviously are easy to continue.
British Cup Premiers - Winner of Final
Prince of Wales Shield for minor premiers - Ladder Leader at conclusion of Rd 15
Dungeon Award for last place at conclusion of Rd 15
Patrons Plate for Teams 9 - 16 TBC later in season but at the moment UF will accommodate

These are other awards we have
Rob Roy Knock out Shield - Team with lowest score of the week leaving - Another easy one to continue
Crown Award - Team scoring the highest Total number of Points over the 15 Rounds
Gold Ring -  (Highest Individual score for Home and away season)
Tower Award (Highest Team score for an in Individual Round for Home and away season)

These awards require imo off site monitoring
Rising Star Award (First year Player (includes players who played 2 or less games last year) with highest average over Home and away season min 5 games)
Robin Hood Award - (Leading Goal kicker for season)
Guinness Award (Highest averaging  player for Home and away season)

MVP i think will be in UF although not there at the moment.

The two difficult ones will be the Robin Hood and Guiness  Any other awards people think we should have and comments on if we should drop any.

MVP Award:

nrich102

Guinness award shouldn't be a problem, just have to check averages before finals and assume the top player played all the BXV games they were available for.

Robin Hood should be easy cause JJK will win it :P Could probably Dump it really, don't really see it as necessary.

How do the votes work? Cause it doesn't seem to be for the highest 3 scorers.

Will have to check with UF as they do it automatically - Think it is probably based on as set criteria they use.

Vinny

Found this, its pretty ambiguous though.

After each match in your league, 3-2-1 votes are awarded at the end of each match to the most influential players on the field. For leagues that use a points-based scoring system this means the players with the highest scores for the round will be most likely to get maximum votes, with some extra weight given to players from the winning team.

In leagues using category based scoring the voting system is more complex, more weight is given to players who have had the biggest impact in getting their team get across the line in several categories.

Yeah cause if it was top 3 then Riska and Shuey would both have votes!

LF

Not sure how they do it because I don't see Sam Gray up there from round 1 and he scored over 200 that week that was the highest score in our matchup,we did lose but expect he'd get some votes

Ringo

OK I have found out how the votes are calculated.  UF will award a 3,2,1 after each games based on the criteria Vinny has published above.

You can check the votes if you click on the match and then votes.  Sam Gray got 1 vote for Rd 1 and the one votes not included in the table I produced.

Trent Cotchin 3 votes unless Cooney beats 225. Should put him in 2nd place after this round is over. Last 4 scores have been: 207, 225, 206, 225. And I almost traded him :o

I still find this UF voting somewhat flawed, don't care if you lose but how the player who was 2nd highest scorer in the match up doesn't get one vote is really quite rubbish

I don't understand it? haha Why is it so complex? Highest scorers...
