Interesting we had 4 of the best rucks in the comp competing against each other (Goldy v Jacobs and Gawn V Mumford with Martin and Nat to come) and you are worried about scoring.  I will Take 129 from Goldy and 95 from Gawn every day of the week. If ruck combo scores 200+ no need to worry.

I watched it

Mumford did nothing. Gawn was big for Melbourne

Hence, he smashed him.

No point saying he would have got 100 if he didnt give away the FA's, because he did

I'm not saying Mummy is a bad pick at all. He just got done by Gawn yesterday

Gawn got the points but didn't smash him. When Melbourne made their charge in the last quarter Gawn had little influence on the game. The way you describe Gawn's game is that he would get brownlow votes. He was nowhere near the votegetters

and against Lobbe who might be a good option to VC your rucks against based on how he has been abused from the pre-season until now. Sauce could go 120+ next week for the Crows.

Meanwhile Lobbe's score of 82 was actually quite good considering his price.

When you get smashed like he did it's pretty good.

Capper

Hickey 56 HOs and Lobbe 42.

Sounded like a stoppage feast. Dont expect either of them to score that well again this year.

Im very happy with Goldy and NicNat in my team

Went Goldy and Gawn.

Not unhappy or anything put kinda wishing I had NicNat instead of Gawn after yesterday.

Early days still though I guess.  :-\

Similar feelings here but Nic Nat was marking everything and had a lot of the ball....wouldn't expect that to happen every week.
Both will be good picks and I'm hopeful Gawn will average about the same as him by the end of the year. His draw/ opponents look way better to NicNat's but if Natunui plays like that every week it will mean squat.

ih well you win some, you lose some

I also did the Goldy Gwan and not unhappy.  Last year was Nats first year as the dominant ruck at Eagles and an interesting stat he averaged 114 at Subi and 93 away from Subi.  Only had one score over 110 away from Subi. This is the reason I went Gawn over him as Gawn was more consistent.
