Hey, looks like all the rucks have scored very average, godly only scored big due to winning goal, still have Nic Nat to play and can swap him out as he doesn't get many touches around the ground anyways

Would Blicavs be a decent swap for Nic Nat as he wins more ball, or will Zach smith hinder Blicavs scores now?

Thanks guys

Holz

Goldy was good with hta he was playing against one of the best rucks in the comp.

I would hold your horses, Mark. NicNat appears to be super fit and is primed for a big year, don't think he'll let you down.

caluuum

Yeah with Holz... That goal didn't get him the points it was 3 minutes into the last quarter.

Doubled Jacobs hta and half a dozen marks in the last quarter

Besides 2 or the other better rucks (Martin and Nic Nat) haven't even played yet.

Stick with Nic mate, chose him for a reason

Yeah true boys , will hold my trigger finger, just hope I haven't spent too much on my rucks with godly and Nat if they gunna struggle to score big, we said the same last year but lol

Goldy is a super fit beast. Given the limited rotations this year, he is going to have some big last quarters because he will run out the games stronger than the other rucks that will be gassed towards the end. He is a must have.

I also have Gawn and he ran out of gas in the last qtr, but was scoring well the first 3 qtrs.

I think it will take a couple of rounds, but the rucks will be fine this year, nothing to panic about, so I would hold onto Nic Nat.

Blicavs is an interesting option because he is super fit, which means that his last quarters might be big, so definitely one to watch.  Just not sure how much rucking he will do, so misses out on taps to advantage points.

Swoozie

Remember after round 1 last year when everyone started getting worried and downgrading because of how rucks were scoring due to the new Hit outs to advantage scoring system after just one round of average scores?

Goldy came out and averaged 130. Martin averaged 110. Jacobs and Blicavs both went around 105.

It's only round 1. Get it together, and don't make any stupid rash decisions like changing your entire structure based off of one game.

everyone needs to settledown. gawn scored 93 and that was pretty decent. nic nat hardly touches the footy but wins alot of hitouts to advantage and scores well because of it

The reactions around here are getting silly already

Mumford scored crap because he gave a shower load of FA's AND Gawn smashed him

Gawn was on track for 110+ but some scaling in a close game like that where he didn't do too much in the last few mins saw his score held back a bit

You didn't watch the game i'm presuming? Gawn probably in front but didn't smash him. The hitout count was Hitouts were 26 to 25 in favour of Gawn.

Without a career high FAs and clangers Mumford would have got over 100.

Gawn did smash Mummy, and Mummy's 25 were neither all against Gawn nor to advantage.

RaisyDaisy

I watched it

Mumford did nothing. Gawn was big for Melbourne

Hence, he smashed him.

No point saying he would have got 100 if he didnt give away the FA's, because he did

I'm not saying Mummy is a bad pick at all. He just got done by Gawn yesterday
