If I trade Gresham to Papley I will then have to have one of Mills, Oliver and one of Kerridge/BKen on the bench after rocky comes back.

Should I just trade one of Mills/Oliver and move Kerridge to the Mids. Will put Menadue on ground for Rocky this week.

Keeping rocky this week and using him as my captains loophole

Doing the same with Rocky.   Oliver is most likely to be given a spell as BKenn and Kerridge are more mature.  Dont see any issues with Oliver on the bench.

No way he gets dropped.

I know Papley has a massive negative BE but I have no confidence fielding him over Kerridge/Oliver at F6 which I will need to if I bring him in. He as a small forward will not maintain these massive scores and besides they were against 2 teams that on form will be at the bottom part of the ladder.

Maybe one of McCarthy or McGovern will be dropped this week and Papley can come in. Otherwise I may hold off on trading this week.

Fair enough,  keeping trades is also why I am holding onto my prems this week. Planning one rookie trade - gresham/hewett>papley depending on team selections.

Believe it or not, I'm starting to lean towards no trades this week. I'm giving Barlow another go, hopefully they swing him into the midfield this week, holding Gresh until Petrecca is named and going to hold Rocky and see how Zorko goes this week.

It means I miss out on Hall, but if Zorko doesn't convince me I can always get him next week (at a higher price of course)

Or maybe just swing Bennedy to mids, opening up the DPP and trade Rocky to Hall? SCs doing my head in this week and it's only round two! :o

decided im going barlow to papely.

then im getting rid of rocky. I just dont like calf injuries.

I can afford anyone basically.

1. Hall 420k: super cheap but not convinced of him.
2. Parker 530k: on fire but not sure he will be the best of the best
3. Gray 590k: will he break into super premo. 2 solid 120s and playing essendon
4. Hannebary 610k: probably the safest super premo. didnt play the last 1/4 of game 1. so really should be going about 120.

People will say Zaha is an option but I'm not convinced, he carries similar if not larger risk than Hall and I think Hall can outscore him.

Zaha has tonned up a lot more than Hall has before and there's nobody coming into the Essendon team who's going to take touches away from him.

All rookies looking good, have papley, don't have Barlow, Bartel, rich or any of these other problem children. Have no issue with making a couple of correctives to make the team better. Silly not to pick libba up front but that's history. Do you think this makes sense?
