Pretty sure I'll drop Rocky this week. He clearly isn't 100% right so I am not going to hang and hope. At 550k that's too risky now and if he miraculously comes in and starts going 120+ every week then I'll look at him, but I just can't see that happening

Issues I have are Rocky, Gresham, Barlow.
The fact Gresham only played 66% TOG in a big loss makes me think he could be dropped this week.

I only want to get Papley as im very concerned with Hewett's JS and Papley should make enough cash in 2-3 weeks to make the trade worthwhile.

Options are
1) Barlow to Papley, Rocky to Zorko/Martin via Kennedy  (Hold Gresham) Leaves 441k in the bank
2) Barlow to Papley, Rocky to Fyfe (hold Gresham) Leaves 324k in bank
3) Gresham to Papley via Kennedy (Benched), Rocky to any Fwd/Def prem (Hold Barlow)
4) Rocky to Papley via Kennedy. Hold sway until next week on gresham

Leaning to option 1 or 4 as holding Gresham wont hurt bank as cant drop in price or points as not on field. Might even help if he is dropped and I can loophole next week before trading him to Hartley if he performs again the week after.

But now I'm thinking to go hewett to parish who can play for rocky whilst he is out.

I am in the direction of using Rocky as my captain loophole option this week and keeping him. As I have stated before I am not trading any premos off the back of 2 poor games. Too early to be doing that IMO.

I also don't seem to like any options to trade out to bring in Papley. All my forward rookies have negative BE's and the 2 rookies I would consider trading in the mids to get cash in Mills and Oliver have good JS.

I may be going out on a limb and not trading this week.

The only case I can make for trading Rocky is it is an injury trade more then a corrective one. He didn't go to the captains day to prove his fitness and rehab for round 1. 2 weeks in he is injured. It's not ideal to trade him because we know what he is capable of, but he will also attempt to play when he isn't anywhere near 100%. He will likely play deep in the forward line for a bit in these games which hurts his scoring.

Unless we can see he is close to 100% he isn't worth holding

Injury trade for me. He is not going to be playing pure mid based on what I've seen, so I'm not going to wait weeks and weeks and continue copping his low scores

550K prem mid position needs to be fit and firing in my team. I honestly can't see him constantly going 115+ anytime soon.

Every year we use a few trades early to balance and fix things up. Papley is all I need - everything else is ok so I'm trading Rocky. Can always turn Crouch into Rocky later if he shows enough

Rocky to Titch, Smitch or Gray OR to JJ via Seedsman, moving The Seed to M8 this week and then next week I could make a downgrade to Hartley then upgrade Seed to a prem mid next week instead

Anyone thinking of holding onto Barlow?? Surely Ross the Boss will ring some structural changes this week!?!? Barlow is totally inneffective as a forward with little or no impact on the game, surely he sees this now!

LOL ikr call me stupid but i am still not 100% on him, 2 125's in 2 GCS wins, he may drop back to a more stable level when they start losing.
