De Goey is close to being out for me. Watched four occasions where he was ignored for a player in a riskier position. Does not seem like players want to kick to him right now.

yep gets to positions and waves his arms but no body really bothers to kick to him...

too expensive for his scoring and hate doing corrective trades for a player I thought would really kick on....

maybe willing to take a hit and hope he improves....

Exactly my thoughts. But surely can't hold. 65 avg over two games so only just above his price average so will make no cash.

Who around his price though. Hall another $100k. Could go down to a rookie but don't really wanna do that.

I am not going to panic, he will not drop in price so he stays for now.

I picked him as an improver and its only two games in, with no price drop.
Annoying. DeGoey tops my list of potential correctives.... Well currently he is my only one.
Looked at bringing Brown into fwds and getting Sheridan and to bring in Hall as another option but can't really manage it.
I don't have BKennedy so might be a straight swap and grab some cash for the kitty.
Papley or Hewett are options too. Means I'd have a lot of cash in the bank but better that than holding a $300k player who is scoring 60 pts.

will be watching hickey,jj,libba, rich and papley this week! best 2 options of those players! robbo if not named next week, gresham and seedsman could be the ones to make way!

Hickey as fwd...never even thought about him as an option.
DeGoey substitute possibility. An unlikely option but I'll be watching with interest today...my beloved Saints are live on NZ TV today. :)

I am wondering also what to do with deGoey - With him not losing cash as yet may persevere for another week or 2 to see if he improves.  Picked him as well as an improver.
Milera though is one definitely on the radar to correct. At $176k very expensive for what he is producing. Milera even has a positive B/e this week and if he scores another 40 that B/e will rise even further next week. Milera down to Papley if named for Rd 3 very much on the cards gain $74k plus whatever Papley makes.
Gresham also a slight concern but he still has a negative B/e so should make some cash.

Will be keeping am eye on Hickey as he may be a sound alternative to deGoey.

Hickey is a great option as a forward because you need coverage for if a ruck gets injured and misses a week or 2, so to have a forward / ruck swingman is important, and Hickey is a good option if he performs today.

We might be doing the same trades next week.

I don't really know anything about Hickey nor have i watched him play really....BUT is there a chance that he only scored very well because he was up against Lobbe who is the worlds biggest Carrot-Spud hybrid.

Yes that is certainly possible, so that's why I'm waiting another week to see how he goes tonight.

But he did say he has had a better pre season and that's the reason for his good form last week.

fanTCfool

Don't pick Hickey off one good game, please

Southstorm

I think I'll explore ways to go De Goey -> Hall but I'm open to keeping him. Seriously, the kid is talented but last night really wasn't his night. His round 1 shows he's capable.

Brad Crouch set to post more awkward numbers, no one to trade him to  :-\

sammy123

brad crouch people. thouughts?

Mat0369

If he can finish 70-80 again I'll be happy. I never expected him to come out and average 100, I was expecting maybe a 90-95 over the first 10 to be a stepping stone. He has the ability to pump out 120+ scores so if he can get a couple of those into his rotation all will be going to plan.

GoLions

While he's not leaking cash, I'll hold.
