Don't make any trades this week, unless you had Sidebottom and can't cover him, Anderson, Swan etc.

Depending on Round 2 teams, if too many of your rookies are dropped you may want to consider bringing in a more reliable option (e.g. Gresham is dropped, Hewitt holds his spot).

eaglesman

If Gresham is out this week, he is getting chopped for hewett NEXT WEEK ppl

definitely will do this

Hewett v papely after round 3 teams.

Holden the ball

worth freeman on my bench to kennedy with one trade?

Southstorm

Anyone know anything about Ryan Harwood? Really shocking DE against West Coast, wondered if there might be an external factor at play?

No external factors in play just shocking disposal and to me could not get into the game.  Because of the effectiveness of the Eagles inside 50 both harwood and Cutler did not offer the run off HB to which we were accustomed.  Expect better this week though with Sauce back to organise defence.

Do they hold their spots this week Ringo?

I think Lions back line is going to be under huge amounts of pressure for most of the season, glad I didn't spend the $$$ on Harwood and have already taken him out of my AF team.  Don't think he's a walk up best 22 either at this stage, maybe will stay in until some of the injured guys come back.

Think so Rico as there are no real stand outs putting pressure on as NEAFL has not officially started.  McGrath and Dawson are options but think they need a little more time. On last weeks form mayes is the one in danger of being dropped. Zorko will come in for Robbo. Close may be an outside chance to replace Freeman as he is the other Leppa has earmarked to assist Martin in Ruck.
Those writing the Lions back line of are really underestimating the organisational ability of Sauce to get the defence organised,

Thinking Seedsman to Ben Kennedy by swinging a F/B to defence.

I have Robbo and Harwood. I will hold Robbo since it is only a 1-2 week injury. Most are starting 2 premo forwards and I had the 3 with Robbo so Menadue will be the replacement. I can also loophole him to see if he scores decently or if I take the 2nd crack with McCarthy. Harwood I am considering dumping to EMack and taking the cash in the process. I know it was a drubbing, but 70 is a possibilty. The other option is I wait a week and check out Lonergan but  sub 40 scores from a 280k player are unacceptable. I think it might be worth being proactive in this case.

Gee some people like ignoring the golden rule do not trade premiums based on 1 game.

Most traded out players in my team
1 Nat Fyfe FRE | MID $670,600    1523 (5.02%)
2 Michael Barlow FRE | MID - FWD $505,300    1041 (3.43%)
3 Scott Pendlebury COL | MID $627,200 630 (2.08%)
4 Wayne Milera ADE | FWD $175,800    456 (1.50%)
5 Mitch Robinson BRL | FWD - MID $ 499,800    281 (0.93%)

Most trade in players not in my team

1 Tom Papley SYD | FWD $109,900    3092 (10.20%)
2 Tom Hickey STK | FWD - RUC $375,300    2056 (6.78%)
3  Luke Parker SYD | MID $538,200    1585 (5.23%)
4 Jason Johannisen WBD | DEF $418,200    1267 (4.18%)
5 Patrick Dangerfield GEE | MID $647,000    1071 (3.53%)

Can understand trading in if you had Swan or Hodge but some of these are ridiculous bearing in mind we only have 30 trades for the year.

I am allowing myself if required 2 corrective trades in Rd 3 or 4.

900 more people jumping on Hickey since I saw these figures last night  :o
30,000 trades in about 12 hours since it all opened up... insanity!

One would think that a lot of those are just experimenting and will reverse their trades

:)

Have made several trades myself just to see how they fit and the best and most affordable way to do things. Guess some people just leave them for a couple of days just to look at, but it is an easy way to prepare for Rd.3  if things go as anticipated. could be looking at Crowley out for Papley via DPP.  Then Johannisen in for Seedsman. But only if this week is similar to Rd.1.  Cheers.        ::)

Will give Harwood one more week. If he can get 80 or more I will probably run with him, otherwise downgrade to Weits and take the ~60k

Diesels Pups

I've got Broad in my side as I didn't realize the game started at 7.20 last week so got stuck with him and with all the outs at Richmond, unlikely he's going to get a gig anytime soon. Will wait and see how Hartley goes and maybe do that corrective trade next week. Apart from that, I'm good. People trading in Hickey on one game is a laugh. :o
