I traded him out today, and feel good about it

Yes he scored well tonight, but he kicked a clutch goal and went missing for long periods

Several times he managed to get a few touches in a row but would go missing

He will be up and down all year

Mate, his been a roller for me also - I kept him tonight due to a another Paps/Dunks downgrade i pre-planned. Then i thought he hasn't been that bad.

Pretty much every defender is up and down all year anyway

Spot on he outscored Laird Smith Gibson and Birchall this week backs are backs plus he is at a new club sometimes that can take a few games to feel at home , keep him for while yet now and see what happens

ants

I let him go instead of Sheridan! Hope he gets 90+

Agree with LF Just no consistency at all with defenders this year. Docherty would be the exception looking at first 4 rounds but jury still out,

Holz

trade him out happy with it (just wish i did it next week like originally planned)

defenders are up and down but this looks and up game from him.

whereas laird had a down game with 79.

would much rather pay up for a guy who when down goes 79 and when up goes 120 rather then a guy when down goes 60 and when up goes 90.

as was said kicked that last minute goal if not would have struggled to go past 80.

I don't have Seedsman but I think there was too much of a rush trading him out ... Bit of a wasted trade imo

In fairness the last minute goal was with about 12 minutes to go I think, and he only went up about 9 points for kicking it, I assume do it being an uncontested possession. And then if smith had of actually kicked the ball to him when he was in the clear about 60 out, instead of the clanger that arguably cost them the game, he could well have scored over 100 (assuming he marked, goaled/score assisted, etc). So I was actually disappointed with his score, much the same as his concussion game 2 weeks ago when he was on target for 90-100. So I'm holding out hope he might yet average 85+ and be a useful d6/7 with dpp. But I'm certainly not putting money on that happening....

What if the rookies we traded in almost match him?

The cash lets me go mills to sloane/pendles next week

RaisyDaisy

Exactly Holz

I picked Seedsman with the hope he would break out into a keeper. I'm not interested in a stepping stone

He won't be a keeper, so the 220k banked and fielding a rookie who will score similar most weeks is fine. Gets my structure right too

Never again with these bloody mid pricers. What the hell was I thinking?

NickyBoy

traded him out this week for rich. sucks that he got his BE this week but oh well, his scores of 60~ will not be missed

For Rich??? That's sideways as hell, and with Rich on 36 at HT, you're still looking at a low score...
