Will be nice and cheap soon, he's on my radar

He's a good player, but he has never been good enough for supercoach. Hasn't finished the season as a top 8 midfielder his entire career.

He's averaged 105+ six times in his career (and very well could this year), I'd say that's pretty good for SC. Only gone under 100 twice in the last 12 years as well.

There have been seasons where I've finished top 50 and the thing that cost me was having a 110 avg midfielder instead of a 117 avg midfielder. Everyone usually has similar teams up the top, so you need the best.

Depends how much you pay for them though. E.g. if you got Smitch in 2 weeks time for the price of chips, and he goes on to avg 110 over the rest of the year, that'd be much better than paying up for someone like Hannebery who, for example, averages 115 for the rest of the year.

Big if though and I'd say the chances of that happening are slim, given Mitchell's scoring history.

More often than not people who cut corners with these bargain picks don't use the money saved wisely anyway... They usually try to take shortcuts on other lines and not everything works out.

Where do I begin? Another pathetic game last night. Paid top dollar for this flog and he has given me -  87, 70, late out, 85 and now this 52. First 4 rounds he went - 130, 144, 97, 141.

I can't deal. Just sums up supercoach this year. What do I do? I'm stuck with him aren't I? Will be sub 500k next week.. Fml
Hate the bloke with a passion.  My son is Hawks supporter and loves him.   So this year regardless of all that I swap Rockliff for SMitch instead of Pendles.   Enjoying the 87, 70, late out, 85 and now this 52.. Did get his 141.    Hope the flog doesnt get a 1 year deal from Hawks at end of year.    Had Pendles in and VC but reversed and brought in Montgagna when Zerret was possible late out.    My year is one disaster to another.    Unfortunately I had the ability to bring in McPherson for less than 1 game.    2000 seems to be my ceiling this year.    [/size]

Gotta love Hawk premos...

Grufflez

He's playing the lions this week and could get a big score

We seem to be using Robbo as a run with player so expect Robbo to go to Mitchell. And i do have Mitchell as well as Robbo so hope they both get reasonable amount of the ball.

Jimmykidd

i'd love to rage trade him, but its not worth it. just hope he can avg at least 105 from here on out.

the real kicker is i had the choice between him and ward at the time.  ::)

Grufflez

Hawthorn were not happy with Mitchell being overworked during those first 4 rounds anyway, Clarkeson said it, Crawf mentioned it.
They don't want Mitchell doing such heavy lifting at his age so no surprise he has had a down month after such a massive first month.

450k is tempting for a guy who can average 105 but i think Gray is a better pick at 500k.

Bubbles

I'm just going to keep him and hope he comes good...
