Round 1 Captain Choices

In the son of God we trust.  It's Easter too; he was destined to rise again.  I've left Pendles out of my team altogether.  Would like a couple of spud scores early so I can get him in soon.

Danger:
Positives - great record vs Hawks with last 3 games over 100 and two of them (159, 173), good lead up performances in pre-season and Hawks don't tag
Negatives - MCG average is in the 80's and first up game for new club (not necessarily negative, but an unknown factor other than pre-season games)

Fyfe:
Positives - scored 146 last year against Dogs at Docklands and has an average of almost 100 at Docklands
Negatives - scored 76 (not sure if injured in that game) in 2014 against Dogs at Docklands and the doggies use taggers

I originally had Fyfe, but now leaning towards Danger due to more consistently high last 3 scores against Hawks, the Hawks don't tag and Danger had a better pre-season SC score wise.

If we do place the C on Danger and for some reason he is a late withdrawal due to illness, tightness, etc,. maybe it's safer to place the C on Fyfe knowing he is going to play. There is a slight risk with Danger of not playing, or am I just jumping at shadows now?

Like most i have taken Ablett's score but i reckon Danger might go large vs the Hawks.

I have  the v on parker and the c on danger ... No loophole cause all my rooks have a game, unless I trade someone in .... Take the risk I think, bad connection where I am so may stuff it up anyway

I had it on him all week, but then changed to Pendles last night, so I'll cop it twice as hard when Danger goes nuts tomorrow

Totally ballsed up me loophole with Yablett and Goldy, couldn't have stuffed it up any worse and couldn't get out of it in any way

Lesson learnt, will look at loophole in more detail before round starts in future.....a bit rusty at the season start!!

Had GAJ VC and a r3loophole that I totally forgot about...cost me 13pts... Bit rusty and can't believe I didn't think about it. Just glad it wasn't that costly

While I'm absolutely stoked with Ward's Rd1 result, Selwood will also make me regret taking Rocky over him.

Wouldn't it be nice if both those went Sub 80 though!
