get rid of gazza and rocky too, both are under done, should only start players who are 100% ready.

i currently have both crouch brothers and no libba! just feel he isnt a keeper and i think m crouch will out score him in the first 6=7 weeks ready for upgrade! the question is i have 160k left so do i spend it turning oliver/mills into libba for m8 or do i turn stef martin/gawn into goldy?

cortez

He's too expensive, upgrade target mid year if performs

No Libba opens things up a lot for me, suddenly I can fit in Aaron Hall and the side just feels better to me overall, undecided.

I have hall and Barring injury ... Libba will beat hall

Yes, but if Libba beats Hall by 5ppg Hall is probably a top 10 scorer in his position and Libba isn't.  You might lose 50-60 points in the first 10 rounds but save yourself a trade. I think thats worth it.

yes but Hall is under 100k off forward premos price

Libba is 200k+

Woppa15

Had Libba early on, not for any reason other than running with the pack and being a 'sheep'.
Was upgraded to Jelwood after he proved his fitness in the praccy match.

eaglesman

Genuinely shocked at the doubts people having on Libba!

Oh yeah he has good pace Libba so will probably spend much more time up forward this season leading out of the goal square. Meaning less midfield minutes and less points.

GCSkiwi

I've dropped Libba and GAJ for Petracca and Freeman, both should get a run at some stage and they can sit on the pine for a while. Just not 100% on either of them.

......... With the money I've saved I've recruited Fev back into AFL and he's now my F1  ;D

Biggest lock this year behind Brad of course ;) Don't understand this at all, nothing to worry about.

RaisyDaisy

Did I start all of this? :P

I was being sarcastic!

Throw away the key!

I think its a valid question that has been asked.  Is Libba a cash cow or a keeper?  Will he be in the top 8 mids, does the emergence of bont, wallis, stringer and hunter affect libbas scores, can he still produce his 2014 high average of 110 on the back of a serious knee injury.  If Libba is not a keeper, then do you look at spending a between $140k and $180k extra and getting Viney, Wines or Parker.  Will Libba outscore those guys, and will Libbas knee last the season.

I do recall many people this time last year who were putting shower on those who said they weren't starting with Ablett, and some seemed to take it quite personally that people were saying no to Ablett.  I remember many saying Ablett was a must have this time last year, and some I know picked Ablett twice, and then traded him out twice.

Libba may be a good pick, he may not, time will tell, but for a bit more $ or a bit less, is there a better pick.
