Even if he does only average 100 thats a good pick to just sideways trade later on when needed

You'd trade out a bloke who's priced @ 360k and avg 100??
Perfect for a M7-M8

100% if i have some cash in the bank and can see a libba to say Beams for not much cash then im all over it.

Fair call.

You'd keep a bloke averaging 100 in your midfield? *shudders*

I don't think he will just make cash I expect him to go 105+ and be a keeper. He doesn't rely on agility or a penetrating kick to score. He's a contested and tackling machine and will continue to be that

At this point, if there were enough mid rookies then Crouch and Libba would be gone in a heartbeat for a Gun/Rook combo. He currently picks himself unfortunately.

So I've been toying around with not having Libba in my side, and it actually frees up room to start with one more keeper. My reasoning being is that I think Libba will be a little short of being a mid keeper, going in the 100-105 range, and may also start slowly meaning he doesnt jump in price too quickly. If you can get a get a weaker rookie of another line such as defense, for a keeper, who only needs to go 95 on that line, its one less trade to make, and the points you lose could be made up by having a stronger rookie on the field elsewhere.

Anyone else considered dropping him?

I don't have him at the moment because I can't fit him in..

Does everyone who has libra in their team also have crouch?

whynot102

Not wrapped in starting him however just to cheap not to

Im looking at it from a B.Smith and Menadue vs Libba and Weitering point of view.  Option one could score similar, and I rate B.Smith a higher chance to be a defensive keeper than Libba a mid keeper meaning one less trade. At worst I think its an equal pairing.

No Libba opens things up a lot for me, suddenly I can fit in Aaron Hall and the side just feels better to me overall, undecided.

Yes, but if Libba beats Hall by 5ppg Hall is probably a top 10 scorer in his position and Libba isn't.  You might lose 50-60 points in the first 10 rounds but save yourself a trade. I think thats worth it.

Yes I'm considering whether or not to have Libba.  There are so many players in that price range, Crouch x 2, Lonergan, T. Mckenzie, then for a bit more there is Rich and McGovern.  Historically Libba has been a very good scorer, but coming off a knee, Is Libba a better pick than any of these guys and why.  Is it better to spend a little more and get Viney.

I can't be assed with the why ... But yes he is better than every one of these picks except for bcrouch

I hope people jump off so badly

HotTiges

certainly considering Brad Crouch over Libba..

IntegralX

My god everyone gets so antsy for no reason whatsoever. He will be fine, relax.

Actually on second thoughts.

Jump off. Please.
