They were all poor early, just got ambushed by a speedy Dogs outfit straight out of the gates. I'm not watching the game but on the radio they mentioned he might have a corky.

He fumbled a few times when he had a chance to get his hand on the ball which you don't expect from him. They showed the replay of the corky, I think they just said it was in the 2nd quarter which makes sense because he started that quarter really well but tapered off. They are struggling for marking targets so I think regardless of the corky they would have moved him forward.

Meanwhile if Barlow could stop kicking it back to the Dogs that would be great. His disposal has been to the point where Ross Lyon might make a point and drop him.

Sandilands is still their most important player. You can make a forward line look better then they are if you move the ball quickly again and again. Sandi gives the mids first use more often then not. Freo have been annihilated out of the middle all game.

It's more a case of their opposition being too good. We'll do it to every team. How do you stop the run of all of Boyd, Murphy, Biggs and JJ out of the backline? Oh and Wood can't be beaten in the air. Adams is the next Lake. As for the midfield... Bont, Libba (back to his gun self), Wallis, Daniel, Dahlhaus, Hunter, Picken, Stevens, Macrae, Suckling is as good as any going around. Up forward we've got the Coleman medalist, the million dollar man and the rising star. And then there's the quality depth waiting in the wings. Should be Premiership favourites.
