Not sure we are going to win on the weekend, but I feel a lot more confident about the season as a whole than AK

Still think we will push for top4, and depending on injuries and timing the run towards finals should be in a prelim at worst
Might be our Swans-bias coming thru SydRox but I'm off the same mind AK ... for some reason I just feel like we're in a better spot that last year even with stuff like Buddy having mental health issues end of last season and the like ...

I'm confident we'll be top6 this year ... with the poor kicking of Hanners, JPK etc ... that's why they recruited Tippett and Buddy, just get the ball and bomb it into the fwd-line!!! ;)

But seriously, this is a danger game - Pies recruited well yet again in the off-season and they are on the up.
I reckon Pies make the 8 this year or at least they should if Bucks wants to feel safe in the coaches hot seat! ;)

and this Swans team includes new blood (see what I did there? ;)) in Paps, Hewett et al who I didn't expect to debut til later in the season with a poor run of injuries (fingers crossed not) if not next season even tbh ...

missing experience of Richards, McVeigh, McGlynn etc is a worry I have to say but overall optimistic for the season ...

Sydney missing a few guys,  but pies missing scoring options with Elliot, Howe out and still no Reid down back. I see it just going Sydneys way being at the SCG but hope I'm wrong (pies fan). Going to be a very interesting midfield battle. Pendlebury, Treloar, Swan, Sidebottom, Adams, Greenwood, De Goey vs Hanneberry, Parker, JPK, Mitchell, Jack, Heeney, Mills

Tippett in the ruck is interesting. Parker has had a couple of early clearances as well.

Lloyd at HB is interesting. He is killing it at the moment.

papley with a goal knew I should have rolled the dice with him already on 31 SC points.

That was a perfect kick from Papley to Tippett. He's doing very well on debut.

Up to 38 now. He might be one to look at in a couple of weeks if McCarthy struggles.

Meanwhile Parker is heating beast mode
